Super Methane Brothers (use the mp3 player first to set volume)
GNGEO!!! (metal slug, king of fighters, money puzzle exchange, puzzle bobble)
Duke3D!!!
Beats of Rage (I like the simpsons mod!)
DR MD (of course, one of the best emulators of all time!!!)
PRBoom (Doom 1 & 2)
Lady Killer (like qix)...
Also, it runs linux, and already there are ported things like
lynx (web browser)
pdfview (adobe pdf viewer with bookmark support)
madplay (mp3 command line, for playing music while using anything)
mplayer (the default movie player built in for divx, xvid, ...)
sterm (terminal program for doing...
TXT in the normal inmenu player. You can script mp3s in the background using madplayer at www.gp2x.de
There is a pdf viewer with bookmark support.
There is also a new ereader on www.gp32spain.com that has some neat features to try.
Also, the xynth program may have some built in readers also.
No, it reads the file as a stream, so size no longer matters. The gfx format makes it so we don't have to load the entire thing into memory.
Just try blazing star, or kof2000 or something and see!!!
33B now. :)
With no sound, its supposed to be a pretty good jump in speed from the 0.33 no sound version. With sound, it runs a little slower that 33.
Wait a couple of weeks for a playable level! (Although we encourage all the testing help we can get!!!)
Amazing! I can't believe how nice ridge racer looks!
Thanks for your dedication zodttd!!! Hope you get the 2nd processor to help you out in the future.
Awesome, I was a big fan of this series in the past. A lot like sonic, but with a gun and powerups.
It even had crazy bonus levels!
I think my favorite was the christmas jazz game (which is freeware now!!!!)

Why not include it with the...
There is gppang ( http://archive.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,27,1172 )
On gp2x it is just called pang. Works decent, looks and plays great. I am hoping for a few more updates to this game, but it runs just fine.
Thanks for the update.
Can you open the source for the port, its such a fun game, it would be a shame not to have it finished.
I have played it a few times, and like it quite a bit.
Thanks again for the port!
Edit: Didn't you do that great image viewer for the gp32? One of the few viewers...
I got that when I messed around with my romrc file, do other games work ok?
Did the game work before you dummyied the files?
That game should work with just the original zip and the dumpgfx file!
using sterm, you should be able to do something simple, like cat a file (if cat is installed), or use less/more or simular. I haven't tried, and I'm not sure what commands we are given, but it is an idea.
If you are interested.
Im selling 2 of them for $40 together with shipping. mth411@yahoo.com
I am in the US though, and shipping may be more if I have to send it to another country.
Edit: Make that $35, since I don't want to deal with the hassle of selling them on ebay right now.
If you don't know, don't buy. I love mine, but I enjoy playing games wherever. Most laptops have 2hours of battery life, yet everyone always has them plugged in, unless they are going on a trip, like a plane or something.
Hope the AI thing isn't too hard. Looks like once this has sound and speed like it should be an awesome puzzler, which are my favorites.
Money Idol Exchange on the Neo Geo is still one of my top favorites, right next to the original bust-a-move.
