I'm a big Go fan. I think everyone should be. It's an ancient Chinese board game with simple rules that have complex implications. It's also a pretty difficult thing to do an internet search for because the word "go" comes up quite a lot.
So, does anyone know a of a Go program with decent AI...
I don't know how hard it would be but I know I'd pay good money for it. Do you have the names of any of these programs or the companies that made them?
I think the docking station idea is a massive win. I've seen that idea kicked about before but I think it's workable now with good enough grafx for the big screen and a small enough price point to be worth it.

Every company exist to make money. There may be people that work there with a serious passion but even they wouldn't be there if they weren't getting payed. I couldn't care less what their motives are as long as it overlaps with my interests.
Even if it stopped being supported, what difference would that make? Unless you've completed every NES, SNES, Genesis, Master System, GBA, GB, CPS1+2 game you'll still have something to do on it.
The TouchPod is a great piece of kit in its own right and has plenty of software to keep your thumbs busy but if you want to play classic emulated games it's a fail.
The point I'm making is that a self-selecting survey attracts more people with strong feeling about something, a higher proportion of which would've acquired those strong feelings from a negative experience. Therefor your results will be skewed towards faulty units.

I don't think you'll get an accurate result from a survey like this. People are more likely to respond if they've had problems. I'll let you know what condition mine's in when it arrives.
