    GP32 Intensity Bit

When the bit is set in the state that makes the colors not washed out, is something in the hardware invoked to make the colors stronger, or does setting the bit to 'washed out' just shift the values of r g and b to make the overall color lighter? uhh... ok... now in English, that means "Does...

GP32 Monkey Ball On The Gp32

I'm working on something like that right now... it's more like a cross between Marble Madness / Super Monkey Ball / Gyroball / SpinDizzy / whatever else I'm forgetting. Dunno if cross is the right word, but it's SIMILAR to those games. :) (This was actually the reason I requested LibMikMod be...

    Evil Dragon Day

He can eat me. :D Well anyway, yeah Evil Dragon is a really cool guy with a big name. He's one of those guys who is really intimidating, because he is so well known. (For example, Chris Covell, and Kevin Horton are also intimidatingly well known, if you're from the nesdev scene :) ) And...

Does Your Gp32 Joystick Have Any Problems?

My FLU's d-stick works fine. The absolute only problem is that UP+RIGHT diagonal is slightly slightly SLIGHTLY harder to get to, but I can still get it fine without problems, so it doesn't matter.

    Gianas Return?!

I downloaded it from the site while it was still there, last week. I doubt I have a newer version or anything, but if there has been an update, I have it. :) It's a DAMN nice game. :D I like the soundtrack, and if it's available anywhere, I'm all over it. :D

    Gpdrive

But when the icon goes away, does the "hardware disconnected" sound play, like it's supposed to? That way, you can connect the GP32 in normal mode, and use PC-Link. So I guess it takes some time for XP to realize the removable drive isn't connected anymore. That makes sense, as I wasn't waiting...

    Gpdrive

I intentionally BSOD'ed because clicking shutdown wasn't doing anything. I sat there for like a minute and a half, never took that long. And I BSOD'ed by repeating what I did: USB connect at GPDrive mode, reboot, USB connect at normal GP32 mode, and disconnect. Do you have to wait at all for...

    Gpdrive

Forgive me if a thread like this has been created before, but I'm a little shaken up at the moment. o_O Ok, so I decided to try GPDrive, so I put it on my SMC, started it, and put the USB in. It worked just like normal, but when I exited the program (by pressing select), the "removable drive"...

Annoying "click" sound when using my GP32

I like the click. :) It lets me know I'm actually pushing the direction, and if the character isn't moving when he should, it's because I have my gp32 off. :D Still, it'd be really nice to have debounced microswitches in there. :)

    Average Age Of Gp32 Owners!

I'm 17 on April 22, 2005. So that's what I selected. :) I got a GP32 because a buddy of mine in IRC would not shut up about it, and he got me interested. :D I'm glad he did, I like the GP32. :)

    Gp32's Joystick Problem Solved

Wow, you guys sure got upset about this. o_O I see why, because it's kind of a hacky mod, but still, if he wants to screw up his GP32, let him screw it up. It's his fault. :D But I agree, I've never had a joystick problem. I've had my FLU for... 2 and a half years I believe. The only possible...

    The Ultimate Ministick Fix

Just a question of interest... Why does this work? Are the microswitches getting worn out, or is the thumbstick just getting pushed further in or something? Also, what do the microswitches look like? Is there a picture somewhere? Does the BLU's thumbstick get worn out like this too? My...

    Wiped Smc?

From what I'm able to gather, windows likes to format SMCs with Fat32 or Fat16 or stuff. The GP32 uses Fat12, so you should probably format with Fat12, because Fat could mean Fat16. I'm pretty sure that the GP32's PC-Link program (on the GP32 itself) has an option to format SMCs. I have the...

    GP32 Using C++ In The Gp32

Mr.Mirko's SDK has an example program that shows how to compile a C++ fxe. Edit: Yeah, I should read posts more carefully, you said that already. :P

Why Did Gamepark Chose Smartmedia As Its Memory?

If you ask me, I think it's because they're conveniantly easy to program. I'd rather be able to copy my games onto a SMC, rather than have to burn a rom and put it on a PCB. And it also makes the homebrewers' lives easier. :) That's probably what Gamepark was thinking too. :D

    What`s The Point ??

Just route the BLU switch to another button. It's a good idea to be able to turn the BLU light on and off (saving batteries during flashing, file transfers, mp3s and stuff that you don't need the screen for), but it'd be even better if you could just wire the thing to another button, or a switch...
