Some of you people are such fanboys ,i thought that the edge review was pretty fair if the edge had done a bad review of the giz u people would be saying the edge is the best thing since sliced.
GET OVER IT
I like my gp2x but the giz is a much better piece of hardware and with homebrew on the way it could take the homebrew crown :)
There are loads of commecial games on the way and with 400mhz chip it beats the dual 200mhz of the gp2x hands down (plus the giz has a 128bit nvidia graphics card).
You...
I think we will have to wait and see how this pans out, im a fan of both the gp2x and gizmondo, hope they both do well.
For some reason i just think the giz is gonna do well next year and dont forget that the reason the gp2x has sold so well is that GPH had experience with the GP32 and the GP32...
this is from another forum wrote by the president of gizmondo , this is definatly true as i heard this from another reliable source sometime ago.
Hello everyone !
I am the President of Gizmondo Studios, and am in charge of all games content as well as additional content for the Gizmondo hand...
Is anyone doing a god joystick mod with step by step piuctures or do GPH have any plans to release one coz the joystick realy does suck (i dont mind using a stick but my thumb slips off it an the edge hurts it to)
I got one of the first batch GP2X's ,there were a few bugs to start off with but now with the firmware upgrade EVERYTHING seems to be just about spot on.
White line has gone , no screen flicker , movies play well and games seem good all in all i very very happy with my GP2X.
As for upgrading...
I think u are all wrong there are some big things happening at gizmondo at the moment, gizmondo is here to stay.
The GP2X is very nice but the giz is a much better quality machine the GP2X feels cheap by comparison.
At the end of the day they are 2 both very different machines by small companies...
I been following the GP32 for ages i was gona buy a GP32 Blu but it seemed a little bit under powered and it only had 2 buttons on the front of it.
Then the GP2X came out and i thought lovely i'll have one of those and very nice it is to :)
