    Something based on OpenTyrian? There are console builds for the Amiga, Dreamcast, DS, GameCube, Gizmondo, GP2X, Nokia Internet Tablets, PSP, and Wii.

    According to Wikipedia, the Archos 5 and the Pandora share most of the hardware - CPU, DSP, and 3D chipset are the same. Using licensed TI codecs for the DSP, Archos has been touting limited format 720p capability for the near future.

    I'll be using my wired Xbox 360 controller (that I also use on my pc) for playing goes on TV, using wiimote for either a pointer (in OS) or just motion controls for various games sounds great.

    Well Pandora has the same problem with codecs - Archos uses third party codecs made specifically for the DSP (which might be the same as in the 605), which allows h264, vob, all of that, but they cost a lot to license - Also on the 605 is Opera and Flash 9, both of which cost cash to license...
