Best Handheld For 16Bit Emulation Is?

Yup, like I said in another post, I can get to 212mhz on my main GP32. My other GP32 can only do 156mhz in a stable manner, and 166mhz for limited amounts of time, but that doesn't matter so much now as I was doing some experimenting and accidentally got a heavy scratch directly on the LCD. I...

Best Handheld For 16Bit Emulation Is?

Yeah, in my opinion that's the only drawback of the GP32, the fact that SmartMedia cards can only hold up to 128mb. Other than that, it's pretty much my ideal machine. Even the 16-bit color depth limitation doesn't bother me (I still use a laptop with 16-bit color depth, by the way, but only...

HAHA, apparently I'm barely anyone. :P

    Well It's Been Some Time!

I still like Bleem! :P I know it won't work above Windows 98 and compatibility is pretty bad compared to what's out there now, but for what it does, it's pretty awesome.

    Gpadvance Source Code?

Ooh, that would be very interesting to try out. Not to mention, some of the homebrew firmwares support larger ram chips (up to 32M? iirc) if one were willing to take the risk of soldering it on the board.

    Acronym Pronunciation

I say Gee Yew Eye, Vee Gee A, and Pee En Gee, but I do say Jay Peg. I'm trying to think if there are any other exceptions... Sometimes I'll say 'jif' and other times I'll say Gee Eye Ef. Eh, there's too much thinking involved in this, I give up.

    The Rabbit Joint

I still love my GP32. Sure, I'd love a Pandora as well, but being a jobless college student with a car that keeps breaking, I'm likely not going to be able to afford one until after Craig quits making them. I've also been considering the Wiz for its portability, but as it stands I don't even...

Best Handheld For 16Bit Emulation Is?

Meh, I did it anyway. DrMD GP32 overclocked: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtwGA-RurXw

Best Handheld For 16Bit Emulation Is?

I have to disagree, because I much prefer the GP32's control scheme, whether or not emulation is more technically accurate. GP32 rocks for Genesis. EDIT: Would you like to see me play it overclocked? I can do 212 mhz on my GP32, but that video was taken at 144 mhz, DrMD's default speed.

Best Handheld For 16Bit Emulation Is?

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Bxe1MsEoCrE This is my own Sonic video, with Sonic 1. I went a little faster. :P Edit: Forgot to mention, this is on an FLU that I have self-repaired, which is why the colors are a little washed out. Sorry about the lack of camera focus as well.

Best Handheld For 16Bit Emulation Is?

GP32 rocks for Genesis. It's decent for Atari Lynx too, at least for tile-based games like Chips Challenge, if you overclock. It isn't good for SNES, but a majority of the games are fairly playable with frame skip.

Why Is Getting A Phone So ****ing Obnoxious?

Well, judging by your story, Verizon SUCKS. I got a phone from T-Mobile here in Oklahoma without a credit rating or a bank statement, and they took my SSN without looking at the card. All they did was tack on an extra $5/month charge for my lack of credit history until I switched to automatic...

How Much Does Your Shoes Costs?

I think the shoes I have right now cost about $30 or so. I used to wear shoes that cost around $90, but I eventually discovered they don't last long enough to make them worth the extra cost over the $30 shoes. For example, I might have to buy a pair of $30 shoes every year, and a pair of $90...

    Opentyrian Gp32 V1.0

Question: Are there any plans to make 'Quit' reset the GP32? I just get a black screen when I select it.

    Fixing A Front Light

Awesome! I just wired up the brightness control circuitry and it works very well. :D It's exactly the same circuit listed on the site I linked to, hooked to the LEDs in the same way as the motor on the last page is. It's adjustable from full brightness to nearly off, and of course it can be...
