This guy is a robot, isn't he? He doesn't sleep, releases his emu in the middle of the night. Makes it more perfect every release...something is strange
For me, the most interesting news was that there is supposed to be an option to install Vista without all the graphic crap, just the system console (UNIX times?). I hope it'll be like that .
But please don't forget about Squidge'sSnes 'shiku shiku shiku' *.* (<--sweet eyes understandable only if you've watched Hanaukyo Maids series, but generaly means "pleaaaaaaase" ;P)
All of the games were tested on following settings:
OC: 255MHz
FS: 3
V-Sync: off
Fast Sprites: off (it's useless now right?)
Audio: on
Results:
Civilisation - fully playable. Didn't bother to look on the fps
Aero Fighters: 20 - 40FPS
Alien vs. Predator: ~30FPS but there are graphic glitches...
Damn, I'm doing everything what it is said in instruction and still I can't get it to work. I get the same "Sound system is not currently initialized."
I've tried EVERY cfg file I could find here, I've placed con files in the same dir as duke2x.gpe or in subdir, I've deleted con files...nothing...
666 the number of the beast... woooo I'm scared... so what's with this 666? I don't get it...everyone are getting so pumped up about it...or mayby it's just my surrounding
btw, have somebody had half-life wad working with prboom? I can't make it load. I get only black screen and then I'm comming back to the main menu. I'm using Mk1 with fw2.0 if it helps
@Ubersnug: Yes it does
@Yod4z: Could it be that DJWillis scumm Port was compiled using old (for fw1.2.1) libraries and fw2.0 uses new ones? What I want to ask is, could it be just a case of recompilation of the app with new libs?
same here. It doesn't even run, it just crashes when I'm launching the app
Anyone knows a way to contact DJWillis? I can't find his email nowhere and I would like to ask him if he's planning making new version of the scumm that will work on fw2.0
well PSX is very good for teaching physics. You throw it from the top of some building and start counting time. When you hear *crash* you stop counting and then divide the height of the building by what you've counted and you have speed of the flying PSX :P
btw how about that joke:
Two guys...
