    Arm Compiling Howto

So, you're basically saying that cross-compiling is a hassle, and compiling on the Pandora is entirely feasible, so it's easier to just compile on the Pandora. Well, setting up an entire compilation-toolchain does take up quite a lot of space, something that not all of us are willing to...

Streammygame Or Something Like That For Pandora ?

Linux has most of the needed stuff built-in. X is network-transparent, so you can just ssh into another *nix-machine from your pandora, start a GUI-app, and the window'll be put on your pandora. OpenGL can work as well, but I don't know if that'll work with a Pandora that only knows OpenGL ES...

    Declining Npv == Ship

2nd batch will also be preorder... You're assuming there will actually be a better replacement in about 2-3 years. That remains to be seen. Also, you expect Pandora1 to be useless and worthless after that. If you yourself can't find a use for it anymore, you can always give it to a younger...

Who Wants To Wait For A Better Case Finish?.

So, you want that company to set up the entire final mass-production pipeline (why do you think they have a 10000+ minimum?) just so they could produce a few more test-cases?

Here Is What Will Be Happening.

I don't see any real show-stopping issues. Perhaps the dent in the bottom part, right underneath the crack in the hinge, but I can live with that. The case clearly didn't get its finish, and I guess they made it with recycled pellets. Why did they do that? probably just so that they could get...

Where To Buy A Cheap 32Gb Sd Card?

Only a pretty low percentage of people actually send in those rebates. As such, it's a cheap way to make your prices look lower...

    Html5

If I read correctly, Chrome (and Chromium, the non-trademarked dev-version) use ffmpeg. Make sure your ffmpeg can decode h.264, and you're good to go.

Damn, This Is Gonna Be Close!

Be glad that the team is a bunch of very optimistic people. Pessimists or realists wouldn't have even started this whole undertaking, and even if they did, they'd have quit a long time ago...

    Backtrack

There's a third category, and that's the group that wants to test the security of their (and their friends, relatives etc) networks, or prove to people how weak their security is. It's just wrong placing someone in the first category just because he asks about it... About emulators: USAGE of...

Yes it is. Those worthless cameras on the DSi are easily trumped by a webcam ☺

Pandora To Be Shipped Before The Nintendo Dsi Xl Is Released?

The Pandora won't be able to usefully emulate a DS. At least not for a long while. But that has already been discussed more than enough, so let's not go that way... That means that if you want to be able to play any of the DS-games, you'll need to get yourself a DS. The Pandora does complement...

So Was The New Case Sent? Where Are The Factory Photos?

It's the people that have only used Windows, and aren't complete noobs on windows that have issues when switching to Linux. They expect to be able to keep doing things the Windows-way, and the first thing they notice are the things in Linux that aren't the same... People also hate losing...

    Battery Replacements After The Apocalypse

If I'm not entirely mistaken, the battery-pack contains multiple, fairly standard, LiPo-cells, and a charging/protection/info-circuit. If you manage to find compatible cells somewhere, or "redesign" the charging-circuit based around the cells you can get, then yes, you could replace them with a...

    New Vid From Ed

If you want to make a video, then yes, you need to sync to the display. But you don't really need to make a video to test ghosting. In fact, I think a single picture will be easier. For a single picture, you just need to make one entirely within a single frame, and I'd say the faster, the...

So Was The New Case Sent? Where Are The Factory Photos?

You could also put the firmware in a squashfs-image. Would allow putting more stuff in there, and it might also be faster, but does make it read-only...

    New Vid From Ed

AFAIK, OLED shouldn't have any ghosting at all. So, either the WIZ has a really bad oled-screen, or all the ghosting on the WIZ comes from the camera-setup... I think you're going to need the burst-mode of a decent camera...
