    Pandora Less Popular Machines Emulation

There's been discussion on 3DO and the consensus is "bloody unlikely" Mostly because there's no open source emulator, the innards are not very well understood, and the lack of quality titles that would make it worthwhile

Sony Psp To Play Retro Games

You have to hack it to install retro games, the screen is not that great (480 x 272 is not ideal plus there is ghosting), and you are stuck with Sony's memstick which is much more expensive than other memory cards.

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

I've been looking for a more modern handheld computer compared to my ancient pentium one, and have been looking at the Fujitsu lifebook u820, anyone have any opinions on it? http://www.notebook-driver.com/laptops-information/fujitsu-lifebook-u820-mini-notebook-specifications/

Where To Buy A Cheap 32Gb Sd Card?

I found an ebay seller who was selling 32 gig cards for like 30-40 bucks, the funny thing was they had like 100% positive and a lot of feedback. Have to wonder if people are just dumb and don't try to fill the card or if they are really legit.

How Much Does Your Shoes Costs?

I used to buy cheap shoes for work and would replace them every year or so (I'd get them for like 20 bucks at walmart), so this last time I got some Rockports on ebay for $40 or so, and they've lasted me more than a year so far. I also have some other sneakers and sandals but I've had them for...

    Pandora "console" Version

I wouldn't have purchased the Pandora if it didn't have a keyboard. If you had a GP2X and tried to play any of the computer emulators, you realize from the start how easier it would be with a keyboard, and I'm very interested in portable Amiga/C64/Apple 2.

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

The palmtop label was applied to it back in the 90's, just shows how miniaturized things have become since then.

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

It's really, really old, doubt I could find a link for it, they stopped making them back in the 90's. There are similar palmtops from that era available on ebay I'm sure, but might be more expensive. Actually I googled it and there is still some info still out there about it, the model is the...

Portable X86 Device (Size Of Psp) To Play Ms-Dos Games Natively

My Mitsubishi palmtop runs Windows98 and can play anything from that era and older. I've played some Warcraft and Doom and stuff like that on it, also have an older version of MAME on it. Specs are Pentium 166, 192 megs of ram, 2.1 gig hard drive, 8 inch 800 x 600 vga screen. Can probably...

    Controllers For The Pandora

So, basically, if someone wants to use the Pandora with xbox 360 controllers, they need to buy the controllers ($$$$), Microsoft's proprietary usb converter ($$$$), then the Pandora. When, for cheaper, they can just buy an xbox360 and not have to deal with any of this?

    Controllers For The Pandora

How do you connect a wireless 360 controller to a pc? It uses 2.4 ghz spectrum, the same one cordless phones use, as far as I know PC's don't have a receiver for this wavelength.

    Controllers For The Pandora

I'm surprised then, Microsoft likes to used their own closed systems for everything, so if it does work in Linux someone probably reverse engineered it.

    Controllers For The Pandora

wii should work (there's linux specific drivers), probably the original xbox would work (I seem to remember they used usb because it was a celeron). Some older consoles you can also get USB adapters to work with them, they sell them for NES, SNES, Genesis and other older consoles. Looked up...

    Controllers For The Pandora

There's plenty of gaming controllers that are USB-HID or bluetooth, just look for those standards specifically, Logitech is well known and I have a few of their wireless controllers. I believe the sixaxis is bluetooth, but 360 uses their own proprietary 2.4ghz protocol.

    Controllers For The Pandora

With proprietary gaming controllers, unless they use the bluetooth standard, you are pretty much screwed because the console company controls the device and whether or not it's open source or not. If you pick a bluetooth controller or a USB-HID controller, odds are probably close to 100% it...

    Controllers For The Pandora

Most modern usb game controllers use the HID (human interface device) compliance, so they should "just work" with any modern OS.

    Pandora Device For Badasses?

I'll use mine like John Connors used a palmtop in Terminator:Salvation, to hack into various computer systems, because it will just work when I plug it in.

Ibm Pc110, The Game-Less Father Of Pandora

I have a similar palmtop computer made by Mitsubishi, got it for like 100 bucks new. It came with Windows95 installed, I upgraded to 98 later, but the hard drive is pretty small (2.1 gigs) so not a lot of room for storage, and when I looked into replacing the hard drive, I heard it was nearly...
