We Are Still Doing The Boards+Population In The Usa, But It Looks Like

I believe they don't have to pay customs from Texas to the UK because the device is for sale later, and it's part of the manufacturing process, at least I seem to remember that being mentioned.

    Interesting Ipad Alternative

Found a link to this interesting ARM pad device http://haleron.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=20&category_id=6&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=63&vmcchk=1&Itemid=63 Probably uses a similar SOC to the Pandora, and will be as open as it, decent price point for...

    Ben Nanonote Now On Sale

Well for palmtop computing, I don't think 320 x 240 and around 300 mhz will cut it. Plus only 850 mah battery? Probably won't last more than an hour or two. Pretty disappointing specs.

    Ds Lite Vs Dingoo

I have a DSLite as well and didn't even think of getting the DSI. I have a flash cart with a 8 gig microsdhc in it and lots of games. I don't really play it for the emulators, they tend to be slow, but I do have some old nintendo and gb/gbc/gba games on it.

    Ben Nanonote Now On Sale

Is it just me or is the specs on that pretty underwhelming, considering there are ARM and Atom based netbooks for about the same price or a little more?

    Mod To Make Pandora Bigger

here's what my palmtop looks like: it also has a parallel floppy drive attachment. It came with win95 but I upgrade to win98 for the usb goodness and can hook up a usb wireless G dongle to it. Kinda slow surfing websites though with its 192 megs of ram (Pentium 166). I think the latest IE...

    Itune$ - Sd Card - Pandora Music?

I will wager that any music management/player program that is ported to the Pandora will play a plethora of formats including the Apple ones, I use Foobar2000 on my PC and it plays everything pretty much. (Too bad its not open source, I'd love to have it on the Pandora).

    Pandora Emulation Questions

I'm sure LittleJohn will be ported (the developer hangs around here), and there were several other GP2X NES emulators that I'm sure developers will port.

    Jxd-V3-Clamshell-Pmp-Gamer

The Pandora is gonna be 100x better than any cheap chinese PMP, I too have been tempted by the different PMPs out, but I just tell myself to wait a bit longer. I bought a JXD301 a year or two ago to hold off waiting for the Pandora, and it's one of the better PMPs out there, but even then most...

    Archos 5 With Angstrom Linux

I have an old Archos gmini, but I stopped buying Archos when they started nailing everything down, now you can't even swap hard drives like you used to be able to. Such a shame, they used to be so cool about their hardware.
