Can someone have a look to see if ogre.rb compiles for pandora?
I want to use ogre but don't want to go down the c++ route.
the reason is that I want a nice consise language and don't want to mess with MAGIC.

yeh guys, its very limited to firefox at the moment.
i could can it, and leave this as a tech demo, and move to flash.
ive been thinking about developing for pandora now that the toolchain script is out.

i wanted to bind to individual dom objects for the click events. but now im transposing the screen coordinate anyway so i could use canvas now.

I have a game i have been developing, and i would find it quite nice if it worked on the pandora.

Plus games would still have to be ported and we would have floods of noobs up in arms because game X doesnt run when its a windows directx game for example.
Does the Pandora have bluetooth then?
How about a menu item on the Pandora to tell whoever is in range that you have a wonderful new games machine that can play quake 3?

I think the emulators should not have main menus at all, and instead should accept a filename as an argument which will be supplied by the main menu of the console instead.

It's called myOSX-less is an opengl capable distro that doesnt use x11.
Maybe useful for a console ;)
Would be like with the xbox having a directx that totally bypassed windows and goes straight to the hardware.
I thnk that one of the first games to be ported must definately be one of the Quakes.
Ideally just the engine with a custom wad/pak with source, just something simple that can be used for future mods on the pandora.
I even think that the Pandora could be able to run Quake3 using the original...
Which a bit of chance i can see the Pandora being the IBM PC or the portable world.
There will be fully compatible clones, and Licensed device living together.
Just hope the dev has a good business model for the licensed models.
