It's one of their more successful Japanese animated shows, It will likely continue. Also they've had fairly good viewership of the latest season of Stranger Things and Umbrella Academy, so I feel the gloom and doom around Netflix really isn't there. To me Netflix is the one streaming service I...
I didn't know about Panfrost, I was stating from the official driver standpoint. if it works great it will be a nice bonus to the project, hopefully performance is good on panfrost vs proprietary driver.
1,5GHz is the default clocking on the OMAP5, don't think I've ever seen it stated to run at 2GHz. I know I have played with 1,7GHz OC when I was playing with the Device Tree settings, but this was on the devboard with a fairly chunky Heatsink.
From what I understand the Mali driver is just like...
Well Zaxxon1.55 is so old not sure I'd trust that image anyway. lot of changes to charging settings, power efficiency and such has been done since then and the latest version. I'd follow HelenF and just install the latest to an SD card.
From my understanding imz is just an img file gzipped... rename the file to .img.gz and run gunzip.
Also Zaxxon1.55 is old, extremely old, it's not even SuperZaxxon which is the present state of the OS. Not even sure how you dug this file up.
Yeah timed it from the time it hits the boot loader on the serial console to the log in screen is around 18 seconds, just felt like 7-10 seconds in my mind. That said, timed my modern smart phone it took 3.5 minutes to boot to a usable state, so what does boot up time really tell us?
What bugs...
About 7 Seconds? And that is with a delay in bootup as there is prompt to select a different Linux Kernel if you don't want to use the current version on the USB Serial Console .
I always was a bit hesitant to buy WD, mostly due to the pile of failed drives I pulled out of systems in the early 2000s, just gave me the feeling of cheap and unreliable.
My only complaint with the pyra keyboard design is the location of keys above the nubs. Especially the Esc key, I've accidentally quit out of several games of Soul Calibur by accidentally hitting the key when doing some quick maneuvers.
Not sure I've had similar issues, but that said I build a lot from source when I can't find a package.
Can't imagine how, trading a much more supported OS with a fringe neckbeard OS.
Have you updated the OS in a while?, there is now a radio button in the mixer that you can select audio output...
I haven't seen a GPD system where the battery lasted more than 6 months...
My brother's original GPD win swollen and died and now my GPD Micro PC has a completely dead battery, but still powers via USB C...
There is no off the shelf solution to implement something like this and Evildragon doesn't have several million dollars for research and development like Samsung, LG or Apple...
EDIT: It would also likely be a more expensive solution to implement than just redesigning the entire internals of...
From my understanding by default software will try and use the slow MESA OpenGL ES and not the SGX accelerated ones. Which is why every example I've seen how to compile for the OMAP5 includes:
export CFLAGS="-I/opt/omap5-sgx-ddk-um-linux/include" LD_FLAGS="-L/opt/omap5-sgx-ddk-um-linux/lib"
Not sure about problems, I haven't noticed any... however I have notice the amount of spammers creating fake accounts have dropped significantly lately. I was sometimes seeing 4-5 accounts being created a day that were obvious spammers.
Some might, I don't think my ports are compiled against anything specific to the OMAP5, but I know the 3D games are likely compiled against the OMAP5 SGX libraries.
