Except you didn't order from EvilDragon's Germany shop, you ordered from Craig's UK shop... Two Different stores where ran separately by different people, in two different Countries. This Website forum just provided a communication portal for the shared community., it just provided links to the...
Except that person clearly stated he doesn't have your Hammer from the beginning, but has a different Hammer that had to be manufactured from scratch unfortunately it cost more make as they had to learn to make Hammers from scratch. However since the guy is being a stand up guy will discount...
This is how I felt about Craig as well, he also was suffering what was apparently some mental health issues and couldn't deal with anything in the end.
Feeling frustrated is fine, just don't expect any good results from it complaining here.
Just kind of perplexed why after more than a decade now is the time to complain. Why you didn't take action like many others did and got their money back from craig or got a discount from ED shop and got a...
ED was a spokesman sure, but even he thought Craigix was going eventually going to straighten things out and not flake out and ditch this project. Forcing people to yes turn to him to fix the issue, it still doesn't make him responsible for Craig's customers.
So you lost money, big deal it...
No matter how elaborate you can string together false analogies to make your case, this entire thing is on you, you had options you could have taken, but that time has passed. You got screwed, much like I did on several kickstarters. Is it fair no, but shit happens, there is nothing productive...
@ponlork,
Except they were not partners, Craigix ran a UK shop, he came up with the idea of the Pandora and ran the development and initial production, and setup the Forum. EvilDragon ran a German handheld website for the GP2X handheld devices and had interest in reselling the Pandora in...
Well you're one of the people that got ripped off by Craigix who ran the Pandora project out of the UK, Craigix failed to deliver after the first batch of Pandoras shipped because he had difficulties dealing with the logistics and such, he basically flaked out and left this community abruptly...
ext3 was brand spanking. or at least not nearly as distributed yet when the Pandora came out, bootloader from my shaky memory likes fat32 or ext2 depending on what boot options are used in the boot arguments.
EDIT: well looks like ext3 was out for a bit by then, but not really adopted for use...
If you want a closer look, the Boston Show I went to. The guy that recorded this was right near Kanami, I was over by MISA.
Also whatever service you're using to make these youtube links sets off my work's corporate firewall, saying suspicious traffic and all that.
Someone posted some fairly decent fan videos of the Band-Maid Concert I saw in Boston several days ago. I was on the other side of the stage near the Bass player, so nice seeing the concert from the other side.
@jedi23
Not entirely sure what was up, but seems my solution back in the day was to format my SD card on my old Macbook pro, for reasons doing it on Linux with gparted seemed to bungle it up and it tried to boot from it, I recall even playing with the boot flag didn't matter for some reason...
I dealt with this on my Pyra when I first got it, It was trying to boot off the SD card even though it wasn't bootable, I had to reformat the SD card so it didn't try and boot off the SD card. I don't remember exact details, but I will search the forum for a bit and post what I did to resolve it.
Still playing Diablo II occasionally on it, but mostly Streets of Rage Remake as the Pyra version still suffers from the SDL1.2 bug that won't allow good full screen speeds.
So you want it thinner according to the other post you just made, and then make this post here to add an ethernet port which would take up way more PCB and port space than any other ports on any Pandora/Pyra devices.
So do you want it thin or not?
First thing is buy the "Bricks" we can make now, that will pay for any future projects.
Yeah and there are plenty of ways of saving space if we compromise on a few things, like the modular upgradeable CPU design and use a single board design, maybe battery size, types of ports....
But then we...
