I still work with some still active 20+ year old Sparcstations on semiconductor test equipment. Some have the earlier keyboards that have caplocks where Left CTRL usually is.
I saw them last fall in Boston MA, in likely the smallest venue of any of their US tour locations. Fantastic live performers. I made sure I was planted in front of MISA to see the Bass playing and got a good view of the drums too.
It works, but it's not straight forward to get It working right, TILER gets in the way, plus I think without a modesetting driver it's a bit of manual bits set in uboot and such. so it's just really a software problem.
