    Blogcritics Gp2x Review

Hopefully I will be writing more on the GP2X shortly. Thanks to all that read my review and took the time to leave a comment here. I appreciate it. As it stands right now, I have a number of other products to review before I can revisit the GP2X Right now I am glad I have a 1 GB SD card, but...

    Blogcritics Gp2x Review

I think this was around 2000 words? I had to cut a lot. I have an entire section about the tv-outt, but had to cut it. I will be writing another piece on the gp2x, mainly on software. I plan to stick the stuff took out of here into that. ext-port possibilitys? You mean that breakout box I just...

    Blogcritics Gp2x Review

Well then that faq page that I was told was accurate by the author was not so accurate. And yes, I took the film off the screen cover. So, if someone would like to tell me what is truly supported, I will update the review. I would rather it be accurate. Thanks. I have played DivX 3.something...

    I Need An Ac Adapter

AFAIK, you need a 3 volt, 1 amp PSU, and you DO NOT want to go over that. The volts is correct on that one, I am not sure what the 4 amp would do. Hopefully someone will chime in. My Radio Shack has a 3V, 1A PSU but they want $40 (!!) for it. I don't think so.

    Video Problems With Tv-out Cable

Hi All, I just picked up a S-Video coupler today and now have my GP2X hooked up to my TV. If that is important, it is: Samsung 32" HD LCD. The audio plays out of both my TV speakers and the speakers of the GP2X. Is this normal? Most things seem to work fine. However, some of the emulators I...

I am using the front USB2 port on my G5 tower. I have no problems, other than the occasional restarts required.

Mac Os X 10.4, Usb, And My Gp2x

Hi All, I seem to be having some wonky behavior with my GP2X and Mac G5. Every so often, say it has happened about twice or three times a day, I have to restart my computer so it will again recognize the SD card in the GP2X. Oddly enough this does not seem to matter if I use the USB cable, or...

    Beat2x V0.3

OS X uses the .DS_Store to store directory structure information, like the fact that you like Icon View with your icons all the way up to 128, or column view, sorted by date. It puts these files on every volume it uses. Windows, and other OS's that use FAT32 see these ugly things. .Trashes is...

What Is The Best Sms Emu?

OK, well, I can't wait then, because DrMDx is a work of art! Similarly, is there anything better to emu game gear than SMSPlus2x?

What Is The Best Sms Emu?

Hi, I am running SMSPlus2x but it freezes a lot. Does Dr MDx play SMS games? I cannot get it to play any of my .sms files. What is the best SMS emu for the gp2x? Thanks, Ken

    I Need An Ac Adapter

alright. I have a quest now, find a 1A adapter. And honestly, for $189.99, yes, they should have, and it would have been better to include one. Even though this is a DIY system, it should have the power brick for the unit in the box. Thanks for the info.

    I Need An Ac Adapter

OK, 800mA or better and make sure the polarity of the plug is center negative, and a regulated power supply. Got it. So why was a power brick not included again? (No, that is not a smart ass question.)
