Really? That explains a lot! - I'd love to see it finally in production, but then this game has been in the works since 2003...

    So What Are Your Credentials?

I'm not a developer, but a professional software tester for HP. Last thing I tested was a Govt savings scheme (Kiwisaver) for the 4 million odd people here in NZ (mainly using Mercury stuff). Other stuff I did has been for British Airways and BP back in the UK. I recommend to anyone connected to...

    Other Gp32-esque Machines

You mean this one: GP Desktop? Still can't believe I'm based in NZ now and not the UK. Seems the IT sector here has some pretty good jobs in it. lol :P

    Our New Machine, Pandora

yeh - I've been a long time out of the scene. But all this news has got me interested again. I love the fact that you can interact with the developers on here and help out with ideas, graphics and stuff. Wasn't Mirko supposed to be making a handheld - what happened to that??

    Ds Homebrew...

DS Scene is also a good site. M3 Simply and R4 are essentially the same thing and the firmwares are interchangeable now with a patcher released (I use R4 1.10 on my M3 Simply) Also auto - DLDI patching on the fly are available with latest firmwares too :D. Compatibility is something like 99%...

    Datel Games 'n' Music

I went to the dark side a while ago and got myself an M3 simply. I'm looking at getting a M3 perfect in the future for GBA support. SNES emulation is surprisingly fast, but lower compatibility (faster than GP32 at any rate). The fact that you can d/l random obscure Japanese cooking games is...

Simple Way To Grab Data Off Websites

PHP is definitely the way to go, with the data dumped into a MySQL database. Some friends of mine did this recently to Grab a seat NZ and created Grab a seat quick for email updates when specific cheap flights in NZ pop up online.

    Should I Enter?

I would do everything you can to secure your degree. This is the most important thing you can have at this stage, since it can get you quality work in the UK or abroad. Just do whatever it takes to get your 2:1 or higher, and then you'll get your rewards from there. Since Uni, I've been at BA...

    Your Idiotic Deed For Today

I had a corporate breakfast function today and there were what I thought were square lumps of cheese. It actually turns out that it was butter.

I Am Back From My Trip!

I left the UK in June 2005, and I'm still on my trip. Since then I've been to the US, Hawaii, Fiji, Australia and NZ. I actually landed a cool job here in NZ - so I guess I'll be here for a while (working as a consultant for HP  ). Sorry for the thread hijack, but I've found its always...

    Ffs Car Accident

When I was living in Western Australia, the best 4x4 by far was the Toyota Landcruiser. It just keeps going. You never see American trucks there, because they would run out fuel too quickly between roadhouses. @Craigix ... hope you get that dopey bints' insurance to pay for your car to be fixed!
