    Compatible Sd Card Or Incompatible?

Hahaha, I ordered that card a few days back, I'll let you know how it works when it gets here. I've used Connect3D stuff before and they seem fine.

[gpsp] Exophase Has Done It Again! Incredible!

Well hey, I'm writing an NES emulator from scratch right now (don't expect miracles or even a release guys, nowhere near done yet, mostly a personal project anyway, etc ;P ) and I'm coding it to output to YUV color for that reason.

    Bricked My Fist Edition

Sounds like you might have lost UBoot... it's really quite easy to fix if you can connect using JTAG but that'll require a special cable or the BoB...

Final Fantasy 3(or6 Depending How You View It)

Hehehe... Chrono is not a true mute protagonist... he has one line in the game! Have fun finding it ;)

Final Fantasy 3(or6 Depending How You View It)

Yes, if you didn't like FF6, try Chrono Trigger before you give up on Jap RPGs completely. No random battles, very good storyline, excellent soundtrack, basically one of the best SNES games ever.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6506027.stm Hmm... I've disliked Dell for some time now... but this is making me reconsider somewhat. I'm excited to see what comes of this.

    Proper Makefile For 2xquake

Hehehe, the Quake source is probably not the best way to learn C  Try something a bit less likely to make your head explode, like any game not ported from code from the mid-90s.

    Complete Noob Questions

No good flash players for the GP2X... if you can find a video version of the file it's easy to transcode to a format you can view though.

Final Fantasy 3(or6 Depending How You View It)

If you don't like the SNES translation, there's a great fan translation patched over the English ROM (and several others patched over the Japanese ROM) that I like... the SNES version plays great on PocketSNES, even with transparencies on most areas are full speed, though some of the larger area...

[gpsp] Exophase Has Done It Again! Incredible!

Hahaha, the reasons the silly wikipedia editors give for deleting things is so silly... It probably should be deleted, but they have to use as many big words as they can to tell us so I guess :D

So, What Must I Buy For A Good Gp2x Experience?

Hi there... An SD Card is pretty much essential (and for firmware 3.0 it's 100% essential), though luckily you can find these dirt cheap these days :) A card reader isn't necessarily essential, though it is a good idea (and they also can be found for dirt cheap) Don't know about the printer...

    Fs/ft: Gp2x, Developer's Board, 1gb Sd Cards, Tv-out Cable

Just be careful... I'm not accusing you of anything schlachter, but you should know washo there is an amount of time after the transaction after which you can't dispute it any more... just making sure you know about that, some random guy on ebay tried to delay me past this date so I couldn't...

    Why Downgrade?

^^ That's basically the idea I have... read the current uboot into RAM, blank the NAND, copy it back. But still, if anything goes wrong you're screwed... Reading the entire NAND is probably unnecessary, and would be even riskier since it would take longer to do :P
  19. M

    Why Downgrade?

The problem with the NAND cleaner is that it erases everything... including uboot... from the NAND. I had to use this yesterday (thanks for the copy of the blanker Orkie) and it took me a few hours working with JTAG to get uboot loaded back on. Now, I do believe it's possible to make a program...

    Sd Card/ Format

What operating system? On Windows, right click on it in "My Computer" and click format. On Linux, unmount it and run 'mkdosfs /dev/<the partition node>' On Mac I would do it the same way as on Linux but there's probably a 'nicer' way to do it.
