High Res Texture Packs In N64 Emu

Hi-Res textures really don't look good on old games that don't support pixel shaders.

    Zombie Apocalypse Engine

Quake 3 can easily handle over 64 players at once. The number is arbitrary and can actually be modified in the source code. There is an arbitrary limit for 1999-era server hardware(I think 64 is the max at which g_maxClients can be given) and could theoretically be increased even more.

    Quake 3 Port?

The Quake3 engine's game(server backend, "game"), client game(client backend, "cgame") and UI elements("ui") are compiled into a byte-code with the file extension "qvm". The "qvm" is the "Quake Virtual Machine." These qvm files can be run by the executable under any environment the executable...

    Directx Mobile

Plus winelib uses OpenGL, not D3D. You'd still be leaving DirectX unused.

    Directx Mobile

But I think the problem is Linux doesn't have DirectX support and Wine would need to be ported to ARM, and it would need an x86 emulator to run the executables on top of(ala DarWine). Goodbye, performance. You might as well port the games to OpenGL; it would probably be less of a daunting task...

    Directx Mobile

OpenGL 2.0 is much better than DirectX 7. Why would you ever want to use DirectX 7?

    My Gp2x Directional Mod

Did you cut the stick rod off? I was thinking of doing your mod(right now I have my 2x in pieces waiting to be modded), but wanted to keep stick-click intact. I might cut a hole in the center of the plastic and running the joystick rod through to the d-pad so it can click.

    Mobile Ray Tracing By Intel

I've never seen a ray-tracing engine with normalmap support. Everything looks blocky especially in Q4RT. Will game devs have to use hi-res models?

    "External" Power With No Battery

The Pandora can switch between battery and DC power on the fly, like the laptop can, and detect and report what power state it is in. No one has said anything about the Pandora being able to report battery life, time to charge, and time to discharge. The GP2X had basic support for this though.

Ubuntu Mobile could run on the GP2X F200 as well, just need a good port.

Poll: Are You Going To Buy A Pandora?

I will wait until the price comes down a bit; $390US is a bit much for a handheld over here and as much as I love the concept of the Pandora I can't shell out that much cash. So I will wait for the second or third revision.

As long as you use mono, you're fine. PocketSNES has always had mono.

    Pocketsnes 6.4.3

Stereo works, barely. Channel fading is choppy; play Super Metroid to hear what I mean. It's almost unbearable since all the music in Super Metroid uses that effect. Other than that(besides the weird fade-in fade-out Power Beam effect), Super Metroid is completely playable at a great average of...

How did you install it? I just overwrote the files in my pocketsnes installation.

Pocketsnes With Sa-1 Support:super Mario Rpg.

This release crashes from Gmenu2X. You have to run it from the default frontend.
