    My Fetish Dos-mame Hybryd Cabinet

Nice start! I wonder what will come out of it after winter holidays. Btw. it seems to me the playing area of the cabinet is a bit on the low side, considering the girls are still pretty young. But usually arcade cabinets have the screen in a more horizontal position, so you look at it from above...

    Downgrading F200 To 4.0.0

I've updated to 4.1.1 a few times and downgraded to 4.0.0 again. I'm currently at 4.0.0 and have no plans to upgrade again because 4.1.1 breaks more than it mends. But autorun has always worked for me in 4.1.1. Btw. my F200 is a v1, which originally came with 4.0.0. Maybe autorun only breaks on...

    Post Your Console Collections! V2.0

Another update. The black PSP fat had problems reading UMD discs so I took it apart for repair. I think it doesn't count as a console atm. Added some things for existing consoles and also added an XBox (first type). So the new list reads: 1 PSP fat, ceramic white running custom firmware 1 PSP...

    Open2x Dr4

+1 for the F200. Even without the touchscreen (that means, is it possible to recompile the existing F100 code if a full port would be too much), it would be an improvement over firmware 0.0.4 (or something like that ;) ), especially the sound.

    Internet Speeds

Some speedtest get strange results because they're not taking caches into account. On one speedtest not too long ago, I got speeds like 30 MB/s (MegaBYTE, that is)! Even my harddisk does not always return that speeds! But the Namesco test seems pretty reliable. I've got ADSL2+ with a...

Sd Card Spec For Gp2x F200?

The sky's the limit. If your firmware version supports SDHC (like it does), you're only limited by what's available and what's affordable. Well, in fact you can also be limited by the FAT32 filesystem. But IIRC I've read about people successfully using ext3 filesystem on their SD card, which...

    Sexy Battle Wip Released

I hope the final game will be a bit more than this wip. Just looking at a static pic while pressing buttons to increase counters is not very entertaining :D Btw. if you want an entertaining sexy battle with a computer game, you'd better look here (not suited for underaged or at work!)

    Rechargeable Batteries For Gp2x

Yesterday, I bought a 4-pack of 3600 mAh AA-size NiMH batteries on a fair, for only 5 euros. I'm not sure if they will ever come close to this rated capacity, but I bought them just to give them a try and compare them to other, known good batteries. Even if they're just 80% of the rated...

    What Os Do You Use?

I've voted "other", because what I'm really using isn't (multi)selectable: - XP on three desktops (one dual-boot with a not entirely succesful "Hackintosh" OSX) - W98SE on an old laptop - XP on my work laptop - Vista32, Ubuntu and Kubuntu on my home laptop

    How To Protect Commercial Games?

The whole business model of copy-protected games just sucks. And more and more companies are realising that. Eg. the number of online music stores selling DRM-free music is ever increasing... As are their profits. It's what people want, and they're willing to pay for freedom. Also, the number...

    Gpsp On Psp Lite

You need custom firmware on your PSP. If you have, make sure you've put the files in the correct folder. You can set the homebrew folder in the recovery menu. Per default, it's the GAMExxx folder with the firmware version replacing the xxx, but you can set it to GAME. Sony official demo's don't...

Could Using A 4gb Micro Sdhc Card Work On A 2x Via An Sd Adapter?

Orkie's nand cleaner seems to solve almost all problems in downgrading from 3.x to 2.0. The procedure is simple: put nand cleaner on an otherwise empty sd-card, start with start+select pressed and let nand cleaner finish. Then put 2.0 firmware on the card after removing everything else and start...

    Getting A Gp2x Repaired?

Btw. forgot the easiest way. First download the firmware version 4.0.0 that suits your model (F100 or F200) from this page. Unpack all files to an sd card which shouldn't be too small and which shouldn't be an sdhc (4Gb or larger) version. You will need a cardreader for this. Cards from the...

Could Using A 4gb Micro Sdhc Card Work On A 2x Via An Sd Adapter?

I'm using an 8Gb micro-sd with an adapter in my F200, running firmware 4.0. But most people with an F100 advise to install firmware 2.0 with the sdhc-hacked kernel by Notaz, mentioned earlier in this thread. Then you will have the best firmware for your gp2x with support for sdhc cards.

Gp2x Wich Version Is The Best

The PSP is also running a closed-source form of Linux (or at least, it's Linux-alike) and it's pretty easy to dev for it, as soon as custom firmware has been installed. At the moment, it's possible to install custom firmware on all PSP-100x models (the old "fat" one), nearly all PSP-200x models...
