    Smc Error

Ah cool that people are finding this useful (still) but there is a slightly easier / quicker / less wear on the SMC way to recover in XP with a card reader.... I've updated the smcrecover page with the details. I keep meaning to write a better page / thing about it but then I keep meaning to fix...

Gp Not Detected With Gp32 Manager...

You realise you have to make the GPMM etc folders after formatting the filesystem right? mkdosfs should work... however if you really want to use smcrecover edit the go.bat or whatever its called ( right click select edit ) and change one of the letters to N - should be straightforward

    Worried About Buying From Gbax

Well in this instance I can confirm along with Squidge that you do have to pay Duty/VAT despite GBAX proudly proclaiming ( still to this day "Our prices are ALL INCLUSIVE - the price you see is the price you pay. ) Hmm but according to DHL this makes GBAX or whoever they actually "resell" liable...

    Little Help With Pvnc

No it will work fine. Just ensure you set up your PSP to use a static IP rather than DHCP. You need to set up the wireless connection in the setup bit on the PSP menu then add a "Host" in pvnc, doesn't matter if its wired or unwired...

Psp Case Thread! /screen Protecer /case Thingy Or

I haven't bothered with screen protectors, can't see myself using the PSP anywhere but inside/ideal conditions. I got a very cheap and nasty "JOYTEC" semi rigid case, for about a fiver, has room to store memory card / umds etc feels rugged and secure enough.

    Help With Psp Network Play

Yes you should be able to get away with just buying one card if you're happy you'll be able to set your PC up as an Access point. If you're talking about "tunneling" to play "LAN" style games via wireless and the internet I highly recommend you have a read through this thread on the xlink...

    Portablevnc For Psp

MS didn't invent the protocol just added bits to it. There is a unix client and source http://www.rdesktop.org/ I use it all the time :) I wouldn't be suprised if someone does look to porting it as its a lot more usable than VNC on windows.

    Portablevnc For Psp

Yep I've tried it and it works reasonably well for a first beta. Its not really good enough to actually properly control anything yet.. but there is a certain degree of fun in moving stuff around really slowly. Looking forward to a PSP TS / Rdesktop client and of course PSPssh ;)

    Snesds :)

You need a wlan card ( not a router ) with the correct chipset.. have a look at the links Squidge posted, you should find a matrix of supported cards somewhere. Nope, flashing the FW has no affect on the ability to run DS or GBA games. Also you don't _need_ a flash cart to run DS stuff, if you...

    Psp Umd Run V1

Coded Arms Forces Update Past V 1.5 Firmware!

There is a a thread on psphacker detailing a method to possibly bypass forced upgrades by using a utility running from the MS to boot a bin file from the UMD directly. Apparently the required firmware is detailed in the SFO and this manages to bypass it. As yet I've not seen any verification...
