just ditch the stuff about the full session package install and use the session-lite package which is auto installed
by one of the task packages in the first post, work down post's looking at what mindlord has to say too and you should get there easily enough.
to clarify a little further
ln -s source destination
where source is the existing file ie fanfare.sh and destination is the new "pretend" file or shortcut
just call it symbolic link and everyone will think you know what you're about ;)
so...
sudo ln -s /etc/init.d/fanfare.sh...
I really like cmus - its a console app and runs great in low power mode
I liked it so much I ended up compiling it myself and adding some extra codex for it! but I think the pnd has what you need to get you going
As those of you have tried lxde will know the menu doesn't do sub categories for menus like games
This leaves some games in the other menu and a large (on my Pandora!) Games menu - not a disaster and a small price to pay for the increase in performance

I´ve noticed that just because the battery gauge claims 100% it ain´t necessarily so...
It can say 100% but drop quickly when taken off charge and used. I usually leave it a while, even though it says 100%
but overnight from 97% should have charged it!!!
