    Debian On An Sd Card

change the desktop file so it uses gksudo synaptics ? I'll be honest I've been running it from the terminal or using apt-get - as I'm using the terminal a fair bit at the moment!

Hard Drive Image With Amiga Emu

Back in the day I used to code demo's in 68k asm language both the cpu and the hardware were a dream to work with I wouldn't mind doing this again, but you really do need to be booting off a hard drive for this. Anyone know if any of the amiga emu's on the Pandora can do this - and how you'd...

    Debian On An Sd Card

.xsession is not being run as its for the "default" session or "1. Run Xclient script" as gdm has it i believe the lxde session stuff is in .config somewhere I'll have a poke around At the very least I want to enable the Pandora menu key again! I'm going to experiment with slim though...

What's The Deal With Charging Time?

as wizardStan said if you were to actually want to use your pandora while the battery was charging the mains adapter would get hot! and in any case the battery life could probably be degraded too. Far far better to charge over 4 hours, all said and done this is *less* that 40% of the discharge...

    Debian On An Sd Card

I'm approaching the problem from a different angle I've done my own stage two and am chrooted into it installing lxde, after I've followed the rest of the instructions and keeping it as slim as I can I'll see if I can't compress it and then extract it to a different sd card and boot it. My...

    Debian On An Sd Card

I'm not seeing proper session management - can only log out not shutdown etc and on toggling wifi the network manager never reports the hardware ready yet according to /var/log/messages its loading the firmware.... most odd However I'm *really* liking the speed, very fast and responsive - nice...!

What's The Deal With Charging Time?

sadly it's my health which could be better, and to make matters worse I have just got my pandora back! but it won't make me loose too much sleep, as coding while tired is most counter productive - so much so I almost never do it!

    Debian On An Sd Card

As I understand it there is still work needs to be done to get the pnd system fully working, That said you are booting from SD for Debian, so you can boot from flash to play pnd's and then when you have finished using the pandora as a toy you can boot from the SD and start dev-ing / using...

    Debian On An Sd Card

I used it even when the mouse driver was screwing the cpu and it was still stable! I tested it on a 4GB card with plenty of room to spare When my Pandora gets back off its extended holiday, it'll certainly be my main OS, using OE for developing can be a pain, broken lib sym links ,out of date...

    Hacking Pressure Support Into Xf86-Input-Tslib

Why on *earth* would you want to spoil a perfectly good argument with such inane reasonableness

    Hacking Pressure Support Into Xf86-Input-Tslib

no the hostile tone was all mine you wade in on a thread not understanding what its about - and then insult my intelligence by assuming I would force a fixed config on the end user. Thanks

    Hacking Pressure Support Into Xf86-Input-Tslib

so sorry you're against pressure support, I won't implement it then when my Pandora comes back, neither will I suggest that you consider using the traditional alt-drag to move windows around....

Pandora Single Line Scripts In System Pnd's

Given that there are a limited number of loop device and more importantly other resources like memory are in use when a pnd is mounted and run, I was surprised to see a number of system pnd's containing a single line calling scripts in /usr/pandora/scripts The .desktop file contains a command...
