    Iphone OS on Pandora

hey, we were only joking. what point would there be running android (or iphone/osx) on a pandora - apart from calling the whole thing "Pandoranoid Android", which might in fact be worth the effort... :)

    Playstation Emulation

thought i just might update this thread with a link to zodttd's latest video. there is also an interesting psx thread on the temporary forum where he explains why wipeout xl is still a bit slow and how that's going to change in the near future.

    Gp32x.com: "hello World"

well in the pandora blog they said the other forum was temporary. so i guess it would be only consistent to close it and move all its posts over here... the temporary forum looked nicer though. maybe they could take the opportunity to give this one a facelift?

    In the news

i'm not suggesting some kind of conspiracy. all i'm saying is that both engadget and gizmodo seem to be biased in their coverage of pandora. engadget's bias is positive, gizmodo's seems to be negative. as for the reasons, one can only speculate. but i know that i prefer engadget's bias :)

Re: Public coverage and news. so you think it's gizmodo thinking of pandora as something like engadget's pet - and trying to poison it? that's so childish...

List of PSX games you plan/hope to play

that's even greater! what about sound though? any idea when sound will be working accurately? that would be essential for games like magic carpet and wipeout - where all those booms and clangs always seemed to be in time with the music :)

wow, thanks zodttd! wip3out still looking a little slowish, but i'm sure it's going to be full speed when the emulator is released.

    In the news

Re: Public coverage and news. it's really funny, but they do seem to have some sort of bias against pandora. first they virtually ignored it, now they try to discourage their readers with hand-picked half-truths and censored comments. i even remember that sometime earlier (it may have been when...

there is a magic carpet version for psx? that's great news! (well, to me...) i absolutely loved magic carpet on my first pc (which replaced my good old amiga, which in turn had replaced my c64 - my god, i'm old...). can't wait to see the psx version on pandora!

wipeout is the reason why i may yet preorder. i was going to wait for the second batch, but when i saw zod's wipeout-on-pandora video on youtube i was beginning to have second thoughts...

    Pandora As A Music Machine?

i am also hoping that eventually some cool music apps will emerge for the pandora. but i'm thinking of midi stuff rather than audio. one thing that i'd love to see is a midi processing utility like midi ox wich would turn the pandora into a more flexible alternative to midisolution's event...

So What Do You Expect It To Do?

funny no one seems to have mentioned an email client so far (or did i just miss it?). anyway, me i'd like to have one from the start, along with a couple of essential emus, a media player, and a web browser, of course. maybe a port of thunderbird?
