3 of the users banned (Hanz, Nickspoon and lucoxade) have been very active this topic so it was kind of connected. But apologies for going O.T.

    Replacement Interface

I do a couple of the users are regular posters who usually give sound advice and are coding for the GP2X. I take it the they are tempory bans then? Edit: removed quotes

There is an option to put the screen into tate mode so you can play them in their full glory. :D

Could be corruption on the SD card messed up file system, if you have it backed up already just reformat it and everything back over. You could run chkdsk in windows to see if their are any files found, that is amusing your on a windows OS. ;) GnBouy works for me and I'm using the cramfs firmware.

Fast Boot Firmware - 15 Second Boots

I'm using the GP2XEngine 1.3beta released on the 14th January with the cramfs 0.0.4. and it works just fine. The latest TV-Out enabled version doesn't work but the executable has shrunk from being 228kb to 142kb, so I'm not sure what was left out of that build. I have duke3d, gp2xspectrum and...

Fast Boot Firmware - 15 Second Boots

I wouldn't worry so much about the battery warning light. Whatever code they (GPH) had wirtten in doesn't seem to be all that accuarte. The fact that my light is on nearly all the time says to me that they shouldn't have bothered. I get 5+ hours play with my Ansmann 2500s, and I seem to remember...

    Replacement Interface

That's what I've done since starting to read this topic, I had forgot that I could already use a base directory to put my games folders in. Now when I launch a game I scroll down/up to the required game and select it, I've added icons for each title. The one thing that does impair things is...

Strongest Systems It Can Handle 100%?

In addition, there were some titles that didn't load all of their sound files, pepone thought he had hit a limit with the amount of ram available. As it turns out it was a bug in his code so games like, garou, last blade 2 etc all have full sound support in GnGeo2x 0.6.10.

    Can't Get Gp2xengine Working On 1.4.0

I tried the TV-Out supported version and it didn't work for me, and I noticed that the it's size was only 142kb. gp2xengine 1.3 non TV-Out still works with cramfs 0.0.4. it is 228kb, maybe something was missed when it got recompiled? It could account for the shrinkage.

    Gp2x Coding Competition Results

Hi, Im using theoddbots firmware 0.0.4, and gnbouy is working fine for me. Savestates work and have been saved to the saves foldr within the gnbouy2x folder on my sd card. I did get a folder called .gnbouy created on my sd card when I first started gnbouy, and it seems to be redundant, would...

I've just finished playing it for the first time and I was thinking exactly the same thing. To me it felt like the scrolling marioworld levels. Nice work deadlychicken22. I like it. :) @Dzz, I'm looking forward to the next release of Vektar I love the visual style. Edit: just started up...

    Gp2x Coding Competition Results

The site is working for me, I'm currently downloading your entry. ;) The TV-Out utility is one to look out for, enables fullscreen DrMDx. :D Plenty of great entries, I've just been playing Vektar, I really like it. And so far that's all I've downloaded, so plenty more fun to come. Thank...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

Like Pepone has said your likely to be put off deleting the gfx dumps as they take around 5-6 minutes to complete within gngeo2x. But if you don't mind the wait and are on GPH firmware 1.4 or on cramfs just use the GP2Xs file explorer to delete your old dumps.;) Prior to F/W 1.4 the explorer...

    Gngeo2x 0.6.9 *update*

Not yet. :) Pepone hasn't got a TV-Out cable yet, and the supplier he ordered from is out of stock. It nearly works in the current version with the rage2x beta 4 front-end but there is much too much shimmering to enjoy anything for any period of time. It's good for a quick blast of thrash...
