I'm one of the many people who can't get the larger games to work. My free memory is shown at 177396 and here's the output you requested for my Metal Slug 3 ROM.

I need some help getting games to work with either the directional pad or stick. All the games I've tried will only go left/right with the pad, but not up or down. The sticks don't do anything and neither do the buttons. I don't see an option to reconfigure the controls, so any help is...
When I exit the emulator, by pressing the Pandora button, the game screen freezes and remains in front of minimenu. I have no choice but to reset the system. Anyone else seeing this behavior?
Holy crap! Thank you for this!!!
Does this emulator need system ROM files placed in a specific directory?
EDIT:
Tried it an found the answer myself :) No system ROMs needed.
It would be awesome if this could get a similar GUI to Mame4All. It's hard to know what game's what from the 8.3 filenames used by Mame. At the very least, an interface showing the full names and also easy to access display settings would be awesome.
I can confirm that the loop device problem doesn't happen in HF4, at least not to the degree it does with HF5.
I also seem to have another problem with battery life in HF5. If I put my Pandora in low power mode in the morning (with about 80% battery), the unit will be completely dead in the...
I've given up trying to compile this for now, as some package is causing my keyboard input to get all messed up. This is the script I'm using to configure the dev environment.
#!/bin/bash
sudo opkg update
sudo opkg install gcc gcc-symlinks make binutils-dev cpp cpp-symlinks g++ g++-symlinks...
I've tracked down this problem to be caused by one of the packages I'm installing on my Pandora for dev purposes. I don't know which one is causing the problem, but here's the script I use to install all the packages.
#!/bin/bash
sudo opkg update
sudo opkg install gcc gcc-symlinks make...
I've been playing with RC2 for about 12 hours or so. I'm still running in to random PND mounting issues, requiring a reboot to resolve. Here's an example error output.
sudo /usr/pandora/scripts/pnd_run.sh -m -p /media/PANDORA_SD1/pandora/menu/ComputerEmulators//ViceX64.pnd -e x64.gpe -b...
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting really slow transfer speeds trying to get this release. It says it's going to take 6 hours to complete. I guess I'll have to wait until the morning to give it a try :)
7z support doesn't work for me. Whenever I try to load a game, all I get is a black screen. I compressed my roms individually using P7Zip on my Mac. Any thoughts?
I had an extremely strange problem, which I reported in a separate thread. Since it occurred while running this RC and I found it to be software related, I wanted to report it here.
Rebooting didn't help at all. This problem was completely fixed by re-flashing the firmware.
