Still having a problem with 1.0.0.5 after exiting a game. The game list becomes all red in the g's and it will eventually crash if you keep scrolling. Quiting FBA and restarting fixes the problem.
I have pretty much every major open-source console available. My Caanoo and Pandora are the only ones I currently use and I actually use my Caanoo more, mainly due to the higher refresh screen. I'm extremely happy with the Caanoo overall. There are tons of fantastic emulators and games...
Pepone created a fantastic port of GnGeo 0.8 for the Pandora, which supports the latest Neo Geo roms. If someone could do the same for the Caanoo (Pepone doesn't have one), then we wouldn't have to fuss about with the roms so much.

I think I figured it out!!
Apparently having a config file from an older version of gngeo will cause problems. I just deleted the gngeo directories in appdata and now games which previously crashed are running perfectly!!!!
Thanks for your hard work Pepone! This is a fantastic emu!
Any...
Pepone,
Are you running gngeo from the posted PND or just straight from a compiled executable? Just wondering if there's something about running it as a PND that might be taking more memory and causing this problem.
I can understand the preference for an analog stick. I have used a digital pad with Apple II emus in the past and they work well too, but I don't mind using the nub in this case. Reconfiguring the buttons would make a huge playability improvement for me. Would it be too much work to allow the...
BINGO!!! That worked perfectly! Thanks for your help!
Any plans to provide the ability to use the directional pad as the joystick and face buttons for the action buttons? Using the nub and shoulder buttons is a little awkward.
Sorry, I used -lx by mistake. Here's the proper output.

You're right about Conan. You need to press the joystick button to start the game in joystick mode. I just tried that, but I'm still not getting any control with either of the nubs.
I've also tried manually putting my nubs in to joystick mode, prior to starting the emulator. That didn't help...
I running HF 5. I have tested my nubs and they are working fine. Not really sure what's going on.
Do you want the ROMs I'm using?
EDIT:
Actually, the input tester isn't showing anything from the nubs. So something is odd. They work fine for mouse input though.
EDIT2:
Scratch that. If I...
Still doesn't work for me.
Conan only moves left and right with the directional pad and nothing with the nubs. For Mr. Do, the game is unplayable as the character runs to the right and will not respond to input.
