    Wtb Computer Components

For $165 you can build a PC with a 2.13ghz Celeron D Prescott, 512MB RAM, some cheap motherboard with onboard video, a 40GB hard drive, a cheapass power supply that I wouldn't trust, and a cheap case.

    GP2X Warcraft 1 On Gp2x

Actually all Warcraft 1 requires is a 386 and 4MB RAM.

    Unreal Tournament

Why is that? If the XGP has the specs it is reported to have, then it should run ok... It has an FPU, 266mhz ARM9 CPU and a pretty decent GPU. UT doesn't have much in physics, just your basic running and jumping physics, and some gibbing physics I think is all it has.

Designing The Gp2x's Successor - Hardware Selection Poll

Yes wifi would definitely be nice, since I run XP 64-bit and there are no drivers for RNDIS, so my GP2X cannot use the internet or get on my network...

Designing The Gp2x's Successor - Hardware Selection Poll

If they need high capacity batteries, could they use something that is easily gotten, like iPod batteries? And I would go for option 1, since that has a FPU and 3D acceleration, the lack of an FPU really sucks in the GP2X. Couldn't they give it a 400mhz CPU with FPU and 3D acceleration? Or would...

    Carmageddon Interpreter?

Don't even bother trying to run Carmageddon in dosbox, you will get about 0.01 FPS, that is if it even runs... Currently dosbox is emulating something like a 8mhz 286

    Mac Os 7.1 Port

OK fuck it, it's on the 68kmla hotline server, located at 68kmla.dyndns.com. You have to use hotline to connect to it. http://www.tucows.com/preview/193834 Be warned it has adware, I don't know if you can choose not to install the adware. If you have a mac, install it on the mac, the mac version...

The source code is available for System 7.1. Can't tell you where to get it though, should apple send the legal team after me. :D

    Mac Os 7.1 Port

It wouldn't be very useful, but it would be cool, dammit. I want OS 7.1 on my GP2X. :D

    Rush 2049 Remake

Also I don't think he is suggesting that we make a game that resembles Rush 2049 graphically as much as possible, so PSX or Saturn 3D graphics would be fine, just as long as it plays like Rush 2049. Still a large project though, unless another engine/game can be ported easily...

    Rush 2049 Remake

Well the Nintendo DS can do 3D racing games and it only has a 66mhz ARM CPU... I don't see why the GP2X couldn't do it. 3D has already shown to be possible at a good framerate in the payback demo...

So Why Can The Dreamcast Get Fullspeed Psx Emulation, But Not The Gp2x

The dreamcast has a Hitachi SH-4 200mhz CPU, and a SGI GPU probably running at 100mhz, and capable of about 1.5M polygons per second, but I don't think the GPU is used in Bleemcast. It also only has 16MB of 100mhz RAM. The GP2X can run at least 240Mhz, is dualcore, and has more RAM. The beta...

    GP2X Gp2x Colors

Why would it be hard? It's just a plastic case like the PS2 or Dreamcast, both of which people have painted without problems.
