    Flv Player

Doesn't flash require a fair bit of CPU power anyway? Would the GP2X be able to play FLVs at full speed?

    Gp2x = Extreme Durability

Oh my, it fell onto carpet and sustained no damage? My original gameboy got run over by a truck and it still works. No, I will not offer an explanation for how this happened.

Wasn't there some talk a while back about emulating the games instead of the actual system? Isn't that what corn did?

    Java Gp2x Runtime (jre)

Wouldn't java apps be slow as hell on the GP2X? Ah, I see that java apps must be written for the GP2X for it to run... Kind of pointless then, except to say the GP2X runs java.

    Quake Graphics Are Bad...

Eh... Are you trying to say that this looks better than this? If so, I must disagree. One is actually running on a real 3D engine, the other is not, for one reason... But if Quake seriously looks worse than Duke 3D, perhaps something is wrong with your install of Quake, or your GP2X.

    Quake Graphics Are Bad...

No it doesn't look worse than Quake, it only looks worse than quake on Xbox with antialiasing, trilinear filtering, high resolutions, etc...

    Quake Graphics Are Bad...

I wouldn't say next to none, with a good software rendering engine the GP2X should be able to pull off about playstation level graphics. It already does with Quake anyway. Good graphics obviously aren't the main goal of the GP2X anyway, otherwise GPH would have included a 3D accelerator...

    Quake Graphics Are Bad...

So what was the point of that shit post? Anyway, I've not had any problems with Quake's graphics being bad. (Or worse than they should be, anyway) Does it look like this? If it does, then that is how it is supposed to look, and I'm not sure how that looks worse than Duke3D.

What Kind Of Speed Gains Could Be Expected In Dosbox With Dynamic Reco

Yes, that would have been a better question to ask, how many cycles could be gained, since frame rate is so dependent on the game... I was too tired to think of that. :D Would 1500 cycles be 1.5mhz or 15mhz or... something else?

Details Regarding The Xgp 2d/3d Accelerator

Why would that be hard? It would just take a little more time to set the bindings...

What Kind Of Speed Gains Could Be Expected In Dosbox With Dynamic Reco

Basically the whole subject is in the topic title. Any rough estimates?

Details Regarding The Xgp 2d/3d Accelerator

How about an analog stick and a D-Pad, that way everyone gets what they want and the whiners can shut the fuck up? :)
