    Amgia Aga For Pandora?

This is why I come to this forum everyday. My A1200 with 6MB Ram, 28MHz '020 accel (wow! eh?) and 512MB HD (wow! again...) still has pride of place. I have cloned it on my laptop using UAE... Now if I could clone it onto a Pandora... *drools*... with virtual harddrive full of WHDLoad games...

    D-pad No Good.

The micro dpad was nice, but whole thing was just too small for me! I ended up selling mine... :-(

    D-pad No Good.

I think I must be mental... Does anyone else think that the GBA SP d-pad was fantastic? Very little movement in it, yet so utterly responsive and accurate, you could hear and feel the 'click', so much feedback for such a small pad. My ultimate tests are the original Tetris on a GB emulator...

How Likely Is It That I'll Be Able To Get One Of These?

Thanks again, I'm no manufacturing expert, I worked in a moulding shop for a while, and various computer and component assembly plants during my youth... Oh the fun. I'm sure it has all been taken care of, I just couldn't find any 'news' or threads about the progress of getting the device...

How Likely Is It That I'll Be Able To Get One Of These?

Yes, I'm in the UK... and love my speccy... looking forward to a pandora emu even better than GP2xspectrum with the keyboard... yummy! And have bought quite a few things from CraigX's gbax.com shop, and have always found the service top. It is reassuring to know that the manufacturing details...

How Likely Is It That I'll Be Able To Get One Of These?

Hello! This 'pandora' business is all very exciting. I've quietly lurked round this scene for years, and this machine looks a great prospect - the possibilities are mouthwatering... a clone of my Amiga A1200 in my hand? Proper Linux environment? PSX? Drool... But... How many of these things...

    Bbc Corrupted

Seen 'outfoxed' - it was made just before the 2004 US election. What struck me about it was how they seemed to be stating the bloody obvious to anyone who has watched fox news - then it struck me that I'm comparing with BBC news. American news is paid for by adverts - big companies. That...

    Bbc Corrupted

@Squidge I'm not a big TV drama of Sci fi Fan - much prefer books for these - but you are right, the americans spend ridiculous amounts of money on these shows and we get to see the best of american telly. I tend to watch news, documentaries and comedies. We can produce good comedy which can...

    Bbc Corrupted

Of the dozen or so standing orders that leave my account every month - the one I least despise is my TV licence fee. Britain has probably the best TV in the world - and this is because of the BBC. The commercial channels have to meet its standards - and it can try innovative programs that push...

Help! I Can't Even Get Started!

Hallelujah! Got guyfawkes test to compile straight from source! Just for the record... 1. Binned Official SDK. cygwin + my machine = arse. 2. Set up devc++ as per yaustar and http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/Using_Devcpp 3. Tried guyfawkes test - pages of errors! Linkers mentioned on...

Help! I Can't Even Get Started!

Thanks everyone for their replies! @dockthepod Yes this was my hope, but there is obviously a problem with cygwin on my machine, which the official SDK uses. I found another app on my machine which uses said cygwin1.dll - PSPVideo9, so I uninstalled it. I also tried to uninstall cygwin itself...

Help! I Can't Even Get Started!

No, I'm afraid not. I've found a few other threads that mention the same thing both here, e.g. http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?showtopic=30125 and on other sites, but none of these threads seems to end in an answer to the problem. Some people have spoken about having different versions of...

Help! I Can't Even Get Started!

Sorry - I wasn't clear. Instead of it saying 'cant find dll' it now gives me the same error as I get when I try to compile in DevC++, i.e. "Couldn't reserve 3600336 bytes of space for cygwin's heap, Win32 error 487" So DevC++ could find the .dll, and was always able to. It was just when I...

Help! I Can't Even Get Started!

Thanks! Never thought of that. Anyway added to path, getting the same error as before in DevC++, but now getting exactly the same error if I run 'cygwin-mkdir.exe' in command line! But this is progress...

Help! I Can't Even Get Started!

I am brand new to the gp2x - a great little machine. One main reason for getting it was the tantalising comment on gbax.com - "not since the amiga has a system been so easy to develop for" - which is good for me as the Amiga was the last system I developed for. And I quite liked the idea of...
