    Alarm clock?

Will it be possible to set an alarm clock and put Pandora to sleep, assured that it will automatically wake up (and me too) at the specified time? In other words, is RTC clock alone capable of resuming the device?

Gentoo Linux - Taking it On!

I'd be reluctant building the OS locally on Pandora, not knowing how good wear-leveling algorithms are for the builtin NAND. Unless, of course, the local toolchain was setup to use SD, which I can afford to throw away.

    Standby when closing lid?

is it possible to programmatically disable this behaviour? I mean, if I want to use Pandora as MP3 player it will probably stay "closed" in my pocket and I will expect it to continue playing.

How are you going to use your Pandora?

I was wondering what's the balance between categories of users in Pandora community. I am not asking for specific programs that you want to use (there is separate topic for that), unless the program is "one of its kind" or there is simply no good replacement (e.g. due to existing user accounts...

    New Sourcery G++ released

I just found about codesourcery and downloaded getting-started.pdf and I know very little about it. However, I found the following in chapter 3.2.6 Thus it seems like it should be possible to use it with standard GNU C library?

    The cache.

Re: PANDORAS SOLD OUT while we are at it, I do not know about the others, but I'm very distracted by such animations and have trouble reading sorrounding text. If poster does not wish to be read, fine; but it also affects posts under and above.

    HDSC Card or USB Flash

They always were. I once read that the counterfeit memory cards on eBay are around 90% figure, no kidding. Just look at this list http://search.reviews.ebay.co.uk/Fake-S ... _W0QQuqtZg (3 pages!)

    Who manufactures Pandora ?

This applies to most products sold in large shops and is how they make profit - selling things at the maximum price people are willing to pay. You can learn about it in the books like this one http://www.timharford.com/undercovereconomist/ .

    The Keyboard

Neither would I. I actualy dislike such keys and find them more trouble than they are worth ("does this work at all? what do I need to have installed? will this work with suchandsuch player or browser? does not seem to work, is the configuration right?"). They only add clutter and make finding...

    The Keyboard

Hey, I wanted to propose this as well :D Regular USB socket in strategic position + mechnical sockets around to keep the thing in place. When on the way I would use a tiny weeny folded (or even not) keyboard bundled with the device, and whilst at home something more substantial. This implies...

    Dev Fund Question

Here is some from new guy. Feel free to ignore, I am really new to these forums and to Pandora. I have ordered in first batch, and gave to dev found, which I hope makes my apperance in this thread relevant enough. Second thing that I hope gives me the right to open mouth here is the fact that I...

    The Keyboard

I like almost everything about it, but lack of Ctrl and Alt keys is a showstopper to me. Unless there is some way around it (like "orange keys" proposed by Cosurgi)?
