What Are Chances The 3000 Will All Be Sold Out By Time They Ship?

Sorry, I do think about all these when buying a new car :), the only cars that interest me are the Fit, Yaris, Polo, Camry, Geo Metro, Festiva or Aveo. Anything those can't fit and I will be looking at a mini-van or a light truck. Damn "SUVs" and crossovers and large heavy cars that don't have...

    Complete Pandora Shown Before Pre-order?

Oh, Really?? I didn't hear that. (been away a few days). I did hear that Craig promised to show a complete unit and OS before pre-orders, I don't remember his promise on emulators etc, but would assume those as well. As far as I am concerned a CNC case and a injection-mold case are the same...

    Questions About The Wiz

Fixed that for you :P No reason they couldn't if it actually functions, a cradle is just one connector on one end and more/larger connectors on the other end. (if they do it right, the GP2X one is a mess.) Possibly incorporating a USB hub would be the maximum extra hardware I would accept.

    Modding Lightguns?

Basically, lightguns would be awesome if there were no cords in the way (using the Perfect Shot on the Wii is starting to spoil me). I have this Scorpion 3 for the ps2, and it's probably the most realistic lightgun ever made...but it has a huge wad of wires at the base, and it sucks. Since you...

Uzebox Console, Build It Yourself For <$30

You could cut out the d-pad and buttons and move them to the edges :). I hope this will give me the push I need to learn C code. The SD software is going into the Kernel, Uze has an SD daughterboard on the dev model. http://uzebox.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=57 Havok has the first run of...

How Much Is A Used Gp2x Worth?

What you are willing to pay :). But that sounds like a $100-150 worth to me. (I hate paying much more than $100, it really isn't worth it, but with the right accessories, such as a BoB and power supply, it may be worth up to $150)

    Gp2x.com Down?

  Wasn't their site infected a couple years ago? It is such a poor quality site I never go anymore, I just use GBax.com or these forums.

    Dead Pixel Policy

Depends on the goods you purchase, but statistically anything with 130,560 pixels (or triple that if you want to include sub-pixels) that is built down to a price like Sony products will have some failure units, and it looks like the PSP's were huge with that. Since the screen is so crap even...

    Virtual Boy

Um, what? That is news to me. Must check on this. Edit, this is too crazy, I didn't think that Nintendo was this dumb: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2007/06/h...the_virtual_boy Basically a single long screen or two small screens was "too much" for them. Damn. With two screens it could...

Uzebox Console, Build It Yourself For <$30

Yep, check this thread for the new Digital to Analog resistor setup: http://uzebox.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19 Basically it is just an Atmega644-20PU and a few resistors if you want RGB (plus a couple caps if you need them to keep it running smoothly), and it can all be on a DIP-40...

Uzebox Console, Build It Yourself For <$30

Havok just got the first micro model made, he plans to sell a few pre-release for about $30, then work up a production run for a cost-effective price that will pay for the dev. http://www.uzebox.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=52 It looks awesome. He also said he can sell the PCB only for...

    Pandora Questions And Answers

I agree with pretty much everything Squidge said, except that I think we could forget the speakers (make them smaller) and slim up the lid. Also, I think the base could be slimmer if the controls were slimmed a bit and the battery made wider and flatter. This is clearly a very expensive option...
