    Gp2x Demand?

READ THE GODDAMN STICK SPEC SHEET! Or should I say spec Sh*t? The stick is C R A P. It spells crap. The f200 DOES NOT HAVE A D-PAD, it has 4 buttons. I owned a pre-order f100, and an MK1, and a MK2, and another MK1, and worked on a 5th unit, as well as being active (2,000 posts over a year...

Got One Of Them 5-in-1 Usb Cables...

What kind of electronics were in it? If none, then you could use a $1 store USB cable to achieve the same ends. (Unless of course your goal is to use the other plugs on the cable too . . .)

    101 Linux Hacks

So less of a "hack" and more of an intro to Linux? It would be nice if they just called it Linux tips, instead of grossly mis-using the word "hack". Maybe "Documented Linux Features"?

    Fake Usb Sticks?

If you are at the factory where they write the flash params that is. I would much rather get one that can emulate a real CD drive (I know my Sandisk Cruzer can do this for some "flash utils" it came with, I deleted them.) Maybe if you can get the TOC from a 16GB flash and dd it onto the root...

    Better Tv-out Using Usb

As has been discussed a 100 times it simply isn't smart or feasible. Reasons: Cost (the Beagleboard is a much cheaper alternative) CPU power (or rather the lack thereof) Drivers (ha!) USB bandwidth simply too little (~480mbps is crap, no cpu power to compress it) DON'T ASK ANY MORE!! I...

    Extremely Light Weight Linux

Sorry, I posted in your other thread first. I vote Puppy Linux, it is very full-featured for a light OS. Consider putting it on one of these: http://www.logicsupply.com/categories/flas...e_flash_modules They have a 1GB for $21 (good if you are using an older PC that refuses to boot from a USB...

    Installing Dsl To Hard Drive

I like DSL as much as the next guy, but Puppy Linux is a much more full-featured lightweight if you are going to install to a hard drive (unless you plan on getting a real X server that can handle more than 60hz refresh).

    Intel Gma 500 = Sgx 535

. . . Prey runs okay at 800x600. I'm just worried that the Pandora won't run doom 3. Maybe in that mode with a reduced resolution of 400x240, but even then I would think some effects would have to be turned down. Looking for a bit of input from some others on their thoughts. Pandora is...

    Myst!

Don't forget RealMyst, it kicks ass. It is fully 3D, in fact I used it with a 3D computer setup and it was amazing. I don't know about Uru on the Pandora, it had some pretty high requirements, I recall that it needed at least a Geforce6600GT to properly enjoy. Of course with some "distance...

    Gp2x Demand?

I believe it is called the GP2X Wiz, and no there isn't wifi. I do hope the developers figure out USB and TV, so far the USB looks like a go and TV isn't (should work, but not, no software.) In my book the USB dongle and TV dongle should come with it, or be combined in a single cable for not...

    Gp2x Demand?

NO. At least not when they realize that there is no Dpad and the stick makes them want to pull off the cap and commit hari-kari with the copper joystick. Oh, and then there is the power circuitry that eats batteries and then fails, with capacitors falling all around the insides. So there...

Is Multiplayer Possible On The Pandora?

Isn't this all handled by the OS? Use standard protocol, then allow the hardware to connect however it likes, Wifi Bt, USB, Serial. I wonder just how hard it is to Bt connect, since it is Linux it should be pretty simple to port a simple app or use a script to connect.

Both? Yours first. All I see is the Flashblock logo though.

    Thank You For The Information!

Dang it, I got rick-rolled, (thanks to flash block I saw nothing, unfortunately I like the song, so did I win or lose?)

My Gp2x Getting Very Picky With Batteries

You might want to run it off of 3 AA batteries to take down the stress on the batteries and amperage flowing through those connectors. There is a thread of mine where I tested 3 AA batteries, but here is the photo album: Doesn't hurt it at all, and you can put it back any time. Plus it...
