Phew! A few pages added and the puzzle list has been updated somewhat. I'm part way through "F", I've just added the info I could find using the archives. Could those that have developed puzzles for the GP2X and the name of the puzzle is between A and F, check the wiki and amend/add bits...

8086 (ibm Pc) Static Recompiler For Gp2x

So, from the looks of things this is a x86 to ARM layer to achieve the same performance from the original x86 code, much like how DOSEmu is written?

The Three Dimensions Of The Gp2x

QUOTE (Mode7 games like pirate wings, super mario kart and F-zero don't count I guess) If you are counting Doom/Marathon/Wolf3D then you can count the above games since they all use the same technology (raycasting) to produce a 3D effect. Since that is the case then you may as well add...

    Virtua Racing Emulated

QUOTE FYI both 32X and SVP don't have any kind of 3D hardware, everything is done in software by some fast CPUs, the same way as 3D stuff is done in GP2X. 3D accelerator wouldn't help emulating them a tiny bit. And the 32X doesn't run ALL the graphics, in fact the graphics are shared by both...

Is Installing Ultima 7 On Linux Possible?

@Sphinxter: It should just run stand-alone @fishybawb: Although I've never tried it myself (since it's supposed to be linux only) it appears to be faster/better than DOSBox. Wiki article on DOSEmu

Is Installing Ultima 7 On Linux Possible?

QUOTE QUOTE I read the Exult docs, looked in the Ultima\ 7\ -\ The\ Black\ Gate.zip off abandonia and am a little stumped. Is it possible to unpack this without access to a windows/dos machine? I'm not familiar with the game, but if you need to install it to get at the data files Exult...

I'm just wondering if it's possible to fit the gp2x devkit onto a usb stick and run it from the usb stick only? Has anyone done this?

    Updates On Stuff!

All I remember was that I couldn't fathom why it was giving me a black screen. I *could* try it again at some point but I'm not making any promises as to whether it gets past the black screen or not. Other than that I suggest using psx4gp2x and see if you can get CnC working on that.

    Purchase Decision For Amiga Nut

QUOTE Cross your fingers for a good overclocker, as UAE4all likes >250Mhz Funny you should say that since I run @ 225 and it's fine for me.

    Ram Hack On The Wiki

I'm a little confused of which values to reset regarding the below code: CODE static const unsigned short MEMTIMEX0 = 0x3802; static const unsigned short MEMTIMEX1 = 0x3804; union memtimex0_t { struct { unsigned int tRCD : 4; // default = 2 unsigned int tRP : 4; //...

My g/f and I saw Sweeny Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street last night. Recommended! Also saw AvP: Requiem the weekend before, it's far better than the first AvP film IMHO.

Upcomming Games And Emulators In 2008

Hexen 2? Well what can I say, apart from being one of the second to have such a beautiful game *in my hands* :P Speed is great, sound is great too. Just a few kinks to sort out and it'll be done! :)

    Arm Assembler

QUOTE Don't know for sure but, since you don't need tabs in gcc assembler, try putting a : after the .loop ie .loop: Of course!! *headdesk* I do vaguely remember the colon to specify the label from my Sim8086 assembler days! That worked thanks. Again thanks to everyone else for your info.
