Thanks canavar! I have tested the release from acid_head. I think it's not easy to use touchscreen to point and use "A" button to click if you are NOT left handed. It would be better if something like double click is applied. Or you can make an exclusive release for F-200 which uses L trigger...
First of all, A great game and A great port! Thank you zodTTD!
I just saw that we can change the game language and I selected Turkish and found out some special chars are not displayed correctly. Any easy way to solve this problem?
Thanks again!
Cool! :) I was working for a GP2X Synchronisation software too. It was on hold for a while because of my other jobs.
By the way I'm getting a "Socket Error #11004" message though.
F-200's MPlayer is far more stable than any other players. During the exhibition, four GP2Xs played xvid and divx videos for more than 10 hours. All of the videos were greater than 320x240 and also using TV-Out option. F-100 tends to lock up and crash frequently expecially while you use TV-Out...
If I understood correctly you can connect ADSL Modem/Router to a GP2X thus it can work with F-200 too. Because here we just use the USB Host functionality of GP2X. We are not dealing with USB Net.
Actually there are other ways to connect GP2X to a network.
1) If you have a GP2X F-100 then you can use USB Network function to connect GP2X to a network through a PC. GP2X F-200 can't use this feature because USB Netchip is removed.
2) You can connect a USB -> Ethernet device to your cradle...
I have a Dell Axim X51v too and the resoultion is 640x480. GP2X's resolution is 320x240 while the screen size is not very different. That's why you get blocky image when you run Quake on GP2X.
My personal idea; Dell Axim x51v is a good piece of hardware but the controls are awful to play...
Some cradles are incompatible with some F-200s. I tried tons of them and matched the cradles with compatible GP2X one by one. Another weirdness... :glare:
Edit: This also applies to F-100.
