    Drmd Savestates

I think it's available on request to the beta testers and is intended to help find the final bugs in Cyclone. If you are not on the beta tester list and would like to join I believe a small donation to Reesy is customary ;) J(ohn)

    Drmd Savestates

Couldn't you run them using the alternative (but slower) 68000 core version of DrMD, save state, then load the state into the normal version of DrMD2? J(ohn)

    Gp32 Newbie Website

^ That'll come in handy - cheers! I'm afraid there's going to be a bit of a delay launching the site as I am currently working on a short-term contract away from home... No PC or web connection where I am staying so no new additions to the site. Hopefully I'll get going again in a few weeks...

I Can't Get Pc To Link With Gp32

Sometimes it requires a certain order of plugging in the leads... Try plugging USB into the PC, setting GP32 to PC link, plugging USB into GP32, then running GPManager. J(ohn)

    Cards Larger Than 128mb…

Ah, now that I didn't know - so much for that idea then :P Do you have objections to me quoting you on the GPAnswers site? J(ohn)

    Cards Larger Than 128mb…

SMC cards over 128mb use 5v and so wouldn't work but SD cards use 3.3v so should work with an SD to SMC adapter. I think... J(ohn)

    Cards Larger Than 128mb…

My understanding was that fixing the BIOS/firmware would fix the SMC access routines for loading the program - ie you could load the prog into memory. However, the programs use their own SMC access routines so once loaded wouldn't actually be able to read from the larger card unless the prog...

    Cards Larger Than 128mb…

Having trawled through a million threads trying to find a definitive and simple answer to whether the GP32 will ever be able to use cards larger than 128mb (for use on my GPAnswers website), I’ve been left wondering something similar. The answer seems to be a resounding no because it would...

    Psp Has Arrived

Some bits of kit have an X factor that goes beyond the usability of the kit itself. About two years ago I went on holiday with a couple of mates and one had a Casio EX-S1 camera. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have one, so when I got back I bought an EX-M2 (higher res and built in MP3...

There Is Some "movement" At Rlyeh's Site

He did indeed and, if memory serves, he also said that he'd be doing it over the course of this year and would at the end also release all the sources. Whether or not he will decide to include one front-end to join them altogether is just speculation. Personally I hope that he does and that...

    Sold Out?

Just done a bit of digging around... Futura Online have them reduced from 200 euros to 130 euros, that's £88 for a BLU! J(ohn) EDIT: it works out as £95.90 including postage. Not really saving that much then. Ah well...

    Sold Out?

Given the official release in Spain, the strong pound (£), and the lack of import tax from Europe... how much does it cost to get a GP32 from Spain and sent to the UK? I've always just assumed that GBAX and LikSang would be the cheapest but maybe there is an uber-deal to be had there somewhere...

    Interested In Gp32

With great difficulty :D I had broadband until a few weeks ago but moving house meant that I had to cancel it. I am only staying where I am now temporarily so I can't really get it here (telewest phone and they only do 12 month contracts). It's not too bad for the time being but it is making...

    Interested In Gp32

http://www.cypherspace.co.uk/GP32Answers is the temp URL. It's only half-done as yet but I'm plodding along. Sorry for the delay folks but I am currently back on dialup so research is taking forever. Will be done soonish though ;) J(ohn)

Gizmondo With Smart Adds Will Only Be 129 Pounds!

It strikes me that they've really missed an opportunity with the Giz. Going up against the likes of Sony and Nintendo but trying to stand out by filling it with a load of features that no-one wants is daft at best. They should have forgotten about GPRS, cameras etc etc and sold it at cost with a...

    Sega32x On Dr.megadrive?

Didn't Sega even run ads in the US that said "Are you going to wait until Nintendo release a CD drive?". Pretty brave really... J(ohn)
