that's what i used ;)
bacteria: don't bother about the resistance: graphite pads into old control pad have much more resistance than dosens of meters of any cable you can use and it works fine ;)
what's the deal about gpl ? i thougt you could freely modify and distribute whatever you want just as long as you mention the original thing etc, what was the supposed problem with gpfce and the license?
edit: ah, i see, source release :P
well for sure i guess releasing the sourse was not the...
that is not the point, i'm not telling about respect, i respect him, you, myself, whatever you want, i'm just showing how his opinion is logically fitting his obvious nature : he knows all you say, he just don't care :P
so save your nerves ;)
it's sooooo easy :
GP2x does NOT consider up-left as diagonals, most of softwares do ,
but "THE GP2X" DOESN'T don't say it that way it's a totally wrong statement , games are not the gp2x, they are games
other software will logically just input the first pressed one, or the second pressed...
barbarian!!! :D
the concept is not bad, the problem is that it still has the same "amplitude defect" as the gp2x :P
i'm still very curious to see if you manage to get a useable finished thing :D
well i technically can, but i may fuck your GP if i slip, and then we won't be in good terms anymore :D
you know, the WWW* syndrome :D
(* "Warranty? What Warranty?" )
i want my beautiful logo :P
keeps the "stock look" , that's my tuning style ;)
another place is between the cross and the volume button
but i think the best place i found is behind the L button, making some kind of L2 on the top of the rear panel, probably tricky to fit but i think i'll put...
ok here i am, but hey dude, the NES is not a stick , i haven't soldered it :D
that's the NES's pcb :
here you see the parts :
left: the cutout piece of PCB with the contacts, added into the GP2X OVER the original PCB
then a piece of rubber with the conductive pads that make contact
and...
i'll post in your topic but you won't like what i'll say :D
Epicenter: the height is not really a problem with a nes cross, or with any other thing who is slimmer than the original gap, then you just have to add a dummy layer in the nes case, you can do it "on the fly" with the 2 layers of...
isn't my beautiful prose enough ? :P
hmm ?
ok i see <_<
so HERE IT IS !
...as you can see, i don't really know where to put the center button yet :D
so it's making a WIP touch hanging out :P
thickness ...
and a lil closeup :
everything is quite fine until now...
okay, today i closed the box, tried bomberman, puyopuyo etc, it works perfectly fine :D
tomorrow i'll be on the go, so i'll do some further testing in real situation :D
grr, today it works again:o
i should be happy, except it's not because of me ! so it may mess again anytime .... i fould a little solder shit on L14 (near the red LED, LCD side ) i wonder if it could have been the source of the problem ?
i'll keep looking for other shits on other resistors...
i haven't even used the psu since it stopped working! :P
it worked one day, then the next day i took the gp with me and tried to run it, and got that white screen .... as simple as that
the psu still works by the way :D
