    International Pandora Launch Party

If he's waiting for a Pandora they'd better hurry up... he looks pretty pissed off! NE2000 or 3c589 compatible? I think I have a couple banging around. Bet you can find 3c589s on ebay for next to nothing though. Or look here...

    International Pandora Launch Party

Yeah, somebody moved me to the middle of the sea.... and now for some reason I can't put my marker back. Ah well, NM.

    Pandoras Little Brother.

Yeah, a typo, it happens. I wasn't confused - it was meant to be a C. I probably started typing AFAIK and decided to write AFAICT instead without realising the mistake. Acronymn nazi! :/

    Pandoras Little Brother.

AFAIKT it doesn't: http://sharism.cc/specs/ "USB 2.0 High-Speed Device"... device not host If it had more RAM and wifi I'd consider it. USB host would also make it more worthwhile. But I have to agree that currently it's a bit of a misnomer. The Zipit Z2 is also very tempting, though this thing...

    Pandora In Linux Format

AFAIK the iphone 3GS uses a very similar SOC (cortex A8+ GFX) but does not have a DSP. So I think it should in fact be worse performance, though this is a little subjective. The snapdragon also does not have a DSP. Someone should write and tell Linux Format they got their facts wrong. Although...

    Wxwidgets

No, not at all. I will not be using XFCE and will chose my other applications carefully... I will be customising my install quite significantly, including not choosing gtk or qt applications unless I can find no alternative. So I am discussing the relative pros and cons of toolkits on embedded...

    Wxwidgets

I'll take a look. Last time I used enlightenment it was too fancy to run on my Pentium 90 laptop (which wasn't all that old at the time). I didn't realise they had a fully fledged toolkit. Though fltk does run on windows it doesn't fit in, but in this case I really don't care if the program is...

    Wxwidgets

I'd be interested to hear people's opinions on fltk... I've never done any GUI programming in Linux but have looked into it several times and thought fltk seemed a good choice. I can't stand bloat and inefficiency in software even if it is easy as pie to code, especially in embedded devices, so...

    I Made It!

Yeah? I've been here ~7 years (in fact it's longer than my join date, as I had an account I got locked out of) and haven't long reached 100 posts :P My opinion - if you've got nothing good to say, say nothing at all! I'm not going to get into semantics of whether I'm breaking my own rule...

    Notaz and his Pandora!!

Amen. I've recently started prodding the forums a bit now things are picking up speed a little, but I think I would have gone crazy if I'd spent too much time on here! I mostly just read op.org and pandora press every 2-3 days.

Ibm Pc110, The Game-Less Father Of Pandora

I think perhaps the Psion Organiser was before all of these devices... except maybe the casio... I think there were some programmable 'calculator-type' devices like the casio available from the early 80s. The psion organiser is from 1984. Great machine! I still love my 1985 casio databank too...

    I Think I've Went Insane.

Oh SNAP! What an amazing game... I played it on the Amstrad CPC (the version that has real colours). I completed it for the first time on an emulator about a year ago. I always used to be able to get the 4 main crowns, and could get to freedom, but I never knew how to get to blacktooth. Turns...

However, it would run OpenTTD I should think. So basically, you can play it, but it will be a little bit different!
