    Picodrive 1.14

that's not a shooter the game I'm thinking about It was a creepy-mansion style, which had a lot of cut-scenes here and there and definitely it's *NOT* house of the dead :P You don't have to shoot anything, for sure..

    Picodrive 1.14

hey schoolboy, what's "HotA"? I mean... I do recall a game house of something-something-something, but I don't recall the "A" thing... is it that game of the old, creepy house? (and wasn't it full of fmvs?)

How Would I Hook A Flash Drive To The Gp2x?

Some MKII do provide 5v (those made after June/2006) and some don't (the other ones, duh.) It's just 100mA, not much, but still very useful to use mouse, keyboard or a flash drive, in worst case you can still buy a self-powered usb hub.....

    Mknod Command, Working On Wifi

yes, you're talking wako :P the network devices are not ordinary devices found on /dev/ directory, you'll find no /dev/eth0 or /dev/lo in any linux distribution, so it's the same for wlan0 and etc... just by loading the right module (a lot of modules loads OK without the hardware but then does...

    Built-in Charger?!

The problem having a charger inside gp2x are: - If you make a quick charger, batteries can blow (you don't know if the person is charging 1600mAh or 2700mAh batts) - Gamers are likely do disregard the memory effect on the batteries so they would play half of the batteries life and charge it...

    GP2X Fixed Vs. Float

Oh, I'm sorry, my fault to keep with that 'dynamic vertical reading' :P I just looked on your comments (I always find reading the comments easier than trying to understand the code, don't you?) and thought that you would fall for that (very common) mistake I don't recall exactly, but AFAIK...

GP2X Some Questions About Variables And Their Location In The Process Memor

I think the best way to do it is to write a program that scans /dev/[k]mem (was it the device?) and when the user tell so (can be a console program ran by telnet) the program scans for useful vars, and once it finds the offsets of the variables just keep rewriting it many times in a second, that...

    The Picodrive Sega Cd Poll

Whoa! I didn't knew that penn & teller's show was of such age... Anyway, my vote definitely goes to Final Fight CD, I know that we do have the mame version, still I like the soundtrack... and also can be already playable, I just don't try it myself 'cuz I've lost my GP2X on christmas' eve :(

    GP2X Fixed Vs. Float

you're doing it all wrong, I say (imho) what you're doing is comparing floating point math by hand versus floating point math by the compiler neither one of these are fixed point math in fixed point math you must deal with temporary precision numbers, like 24.8 can be 248, so multiply 248 *...

    Free Sdio-stack Available

98% of the power drawn by an wifi adapter is used by the transmitter, some cards allow you to dimish transmitter power, so you can buy a powerful one (400mA) and set it up not to use that much power while transmitting... altough it depends on a driver that would allow that interface to be present

    GP2X Detecting Changes In /dev/gpio

if you read in a polling fashion I think you don't have debounce this signal, the signal will be already well-set when you read it most likely bouncing occurs for a very short period, like 0.1ms or (much) less, and in that state, chances are good that you get the correct signal even while...

    Getting Started With Asm?

no, gas don't ignore .extern, it just treats all unknown labels as an extern, so you don't have to declare extern at all with gas, but still it's the opposite thing of .global your label/variable don't have a public name when linking if it's not a global, so you can have many modules with a...

    Getting Started With Asm?

have you ever thought about using a 4-4-4-4 RBGA format? I know you'd gonna be limited to 4096 colors (which in some cases are more than enough, some cases not) then you'll have 2 pixels per word AND a quite easy 1-nibble-per-attribute packing... definitely you're going to exchange graphical...

    Getting Started With Asm?

try: .type fb_write, %function .align shall be 2, I think, in arm .align refers to powers of two, or, in doubt, .align 4 and don't bother (maybe) eventually wasting 15 bytes for a word... there's also a directive called .p2align which always refers to one single signification, so .p2align 2...
