since the k8 amd (athlon 64) the via chipsets are equal to nforce chipsets. performance and stability wise.
but i agre with epicenter for the psu. 380 watts antec power is more than enough. it should be quiet and stable.
you should be able to get a 7600gt for less than 100 pounds. if not, there is a 7600gs on the market from galaxy which has almost gt speeds and is not much more expensive than a standard gs. and you should maybe get a dual core 3800+ (or a recently released 3600+)
first: x-code - no more beer for you. you've been drinking far too much lately :P
second: unai great to have you back and good to hear that you are to poor to afford a gizmo (jking of course).
thats so great. i'm going to a party tonight and i'll drink some beers on zod and x-code ;)

1. optimize the dynarec, include hacks etc etc
2. optimize the gpu code (yay unai!)
3. use the second core (for sound or gpu)
rock on!

and you deserve beatings for your last sentence zodttd xD
gp2x for sure!
afaik using the second cpu can slow things down when used 'incorrectly'. the problem seems to be that both cpu's have to share the ram acces and therefore the second cpu can block the other one. and its tricky to code the right way to make profit out of the second cpu so if zodttd will use it...
