    Gagging For A Pandora....

The Pandora is like sex. When you get it it's great. But even if you've not had it, it's still great thinking about it. How many of the OpenPandora team does it take to change a lightbulb. 1 but it always takes 2 months. What's the difference between a woman and a Pandora? The Pandora thinks...

Which Big-Name Game Developer Would Consider The Pandora Seriously?

The thing that baffles me most is it being totally ignored by mainstream media here in Britain. Usually the BBC love stories like the Pandora. Flying under the radar can't be the plan, shurely?

Which Big-Name Game Developer Would Consider The Pandora Seriously?

For someone who started as an indie dev with high ideals, he sells out with ease. He has to make a living, as do we all, but the tortured artist shit he comes out with... He's the Michael Jackson of video game devs - kicked out a couple of good beats in the 80s but sold his soul in the 90s...

You'd think guys like Yak would be all over the Pandora, but no, they like to get paid $3 a download to a dwindling audience.

SDL is completely supported but is software only. Including sound (SDL_mixer) but SDL has no 3D capabilities by itself.

Ahh. I think when you create a new project use 'Console App', or whatever it's called, rather than 'SDL project'. The SDL project option is broken for cross-compiling.

Brilliant :D Shame I'm busy this weekend. I'll try and get something done so we can get an idea of how fast Irrlicht will run on the Pandora. Thanks again sebt3. Awesome work :)

I thought you followed the guide I posted. That tells you how to set up the linker and search dirs. Code::Blocks Cross Compiler (Linux)

Thanks sebt3 :) Is this the Pandora ARM package because a lot of the libs are marked xf86? If it is the Pandora package is it using the SGX or software rendering?

    Rendering Engine

Yea, 3D is really easy to code for once you have something like Irrlicht working. Design is always hard.

Setting up Code::Blocks to cross-compile in Ubuntu

That's a good question. I will ask Cpas. *edit* Cpas is obviously busy but sebt3 shoots, and he scores with this. Used my reply with quote so it's obvious what I'm talking about http://www.gp32x.de/board/index.php?/topic/55876-rendering-engine/page__view__findpost__p__904587 *edit2* that isnt...
