Yes if you know where and how to load the driver and switch between SDL and X output it's probably not that hard. I lack the knowledge, but maybe Tom knows how to add it.
Or you could just add a hires/lores-menu item. Wenn "hires" is selected the preset resolutions change to 640x200, 640x216, 640x240, 640x256 and 640x262.
edit: the text for the preset modes could be changed to just "200 height, 216 height, ..., 262 height".
And the lores and hires options...
Yes, I.
216 is the height of Turrican I&II, Beast II and some more games, meaning these games fill the whole height of the Pandora's screen in this mode.
200 is the height for about 50% of all Amiga games and gives almost fullscreen on Pandora with aspect ratio completely intact!
262 is...
Thanks again for your tests. It's fixed now:

Btw., tried Frontier myself. At A1200-speed with 800 MHz and frameskip 1 it's playable but at A1200 Turbo-speed with 1050 MHz (and still frameskip 1) it seems to run very well.
Best screenmode for Frontier...
I see all you did was map left and right mousebuttons to (A) and (B ) (and dpad=mouse movement). No need to use custom controls for this - just press START during emulation to switch to mouse emulation mode. Not long back I've changed the mouse-buttons to be on (A) and (B ) in this mode.
Would be interesting how well Frontier runs at 1+GHz with "A1200 Turbo" speed setting.

This has a bunch of bugfixes by TomB:
- fixed problem with audio after restore of saved state
- increased size for filenames to...
Because every higher Amiga speed setting is more and more demanding to emulate for the Pandora's CPU. As a rough estimation I'd guess "Amiga 500 Turbo" needs about 700-900MHz, "Amiga 1200" speed needs about 900-1100MHz and "Amiga 1200 Turbo" needs 1100+MHz.
Here's a new beta version with a whole bunch of very nice bugfixes by TomB - most notably the sound delay is gone after restoring a savestate (so no need to enter and leave the gui anymore). Also the emu seems not to crash anymore when you repeatedly restore savestates.
These are the changes...
Okay, now I can confirm this PND has the new features:
Amiga speed is changeable in "More options ( B )".
Tomorrow I'll merge TomB's latest improvements into my sources and release a new pnd for betatesting.

2 changes - thanks to Toni Wilen we can now emulate faster Amiga CPUs and also play Roadkill.
1) Added Amiga CPU speed settings (in Misc. menu):
- A500 = approximate Amiga 500 speed (68000 @7.14MHz)
- A500T = Amiga 500 Turbo...
With 25fps and 50fps I just meant the frames the emulator can render per second. That has nothing to do with the # of frames at which Wings runs in the dogfight sequences. I don't know how fast Wings is at standard A500-speed. I guess about 8 or 10fps. At A1200-speed that was like 40fps.
Tried the change and it seemed to have worked. Tested Wings because that games seems to have no speed limit in-game. It was a lot faster than usually - too fast. But at 800MHz I had to use frameskip 1 to get stable 25fps. At 1000MHz it ran at stable 50fps with frameskip 0 though. But Wings is...
Asked Toni Wilen about the speed issue now and he told me how to get approximate A1200-speed. Exact frequency settings are only available in cycle-exact emulation (which Pandora won't ever achieve) but the difference between the exact frequency and approximate A1200-speed is probably not...
