That should actually be possible by editing the ~/.asoundrc file. One could do something similar to this: http://alsa.opensrc...._stereo_to_mono
I haven't tested this yet but I think it could work like this:
pcm.crossfeed {
type route
slave.pcm "softvol"
ttable.0.0 1 # Maps channel 0...
Duplicity supports encrypted backups. Also:
Maybe it could be wrapped up into something more user friendly and maybe come preconfigured. On the other hand it uses GPG for encryption which I haven't found to be overly user friendly...
Adding a project name should work via xxx modify project:name
The app starts the task shell directly, so you don't need to prepend 'task' but can directly enter xxx edit. xxx edit starts vi for me... And because I do some pretty ugly stuff to get the task shell started in its own terminal...
OTR 4.0.0 is out so I've updated the pidgin.pnd
It's uploading to the repo right now.
EDIT: Argh, uploading takes forever and I have to go. I'll do it today evening.
I've set the file and folder attributes to read for everyone now, I don't know if they already were.
I can download it from my server and my laptop.
EDIT: And the server of a friend... Also with different users oo"
EDIT2: I've uploaded it to the repo...
I compiled the most recent version of taskwarrior with included LUA 5.2
PND is in the first post and I'll upload it to the repo if there are no problems (Haven't found any yet)
As far as I remember voice chat needs farstream and telepathy which had a lot of dependencies that wouldn't build. I'll look into it when I have time. The text-only google-talk should work via XMPP.
I use BT tethering almost daily. It's a bit slow for surfing (As far as I know BT isn't very fast), but IM and email work pretty well. I haven't noticed a big impact on battery life.
The Intel driver situation doesn't seem so bad, although the only sources I have on this are phoronix and how well my laptop seems to handle graphics :D
I think this is going to be a very interesting development. What (desktop-)Linux really does lack, imho, are games (and manufacturer support for some hardware...) I really hope Valve manages to make Linux even more interesting for users, developers and manufacturers alike.
Linux would also be...
Not really news, but very awesome :D
Valve also have a blog about it and it's mentioned in the Cold Stream DLC release notes.
And Left 4 Dead 2 is not alone.
You couldn't possibly add the gspca_ov534 module? It's for the Playstation Eye USB webcam. The gspca_main module seems to be in the firmware already. Would be awesome to use my webcam with the Pandora :D
