Which software do you miss on Pyra?

Its actually pretty common with bargain bin movie sets. I have a scifi one with 4 movies on 1 disk, only one I remember is Cold Equations, damn good movie by they way. Even more so as it's at best a B movies budget. Sent from my H3123 using Tapatalk

Which software do you miss on Pyra?

I know there is a "working" ps2 emu that works pretty good on android, daemonPS2, however, it used stolen code from pcsx2, so is pretty much blacklisted. However, it does prove it "can" work on arm, I checked the demo, and it can run what I threw at it pretty well on my XA2, back when I tried...

    It's Electrifying! (Split)

USA's power actually is pretty variable. Your normal outlets can go from 105v to 125v, which can mean our "220v" can be 220v-250v, depending on location, distance from power plant, powerline age, etc. Sent from my H3123 using Tapatalk

    It's Electrifying! (Split)

Almost every US house does, at least Inever seen one that didn't, but it is possible. Our electric water heaters, stoves, etc, all run 220v. However, there is no universal standard outlet. Stoves have their own outlet (either 3 prong, the 2 wires for 220, and a neutral, or the newer standard of...

    It's Electrifying! (Split)

Not exactly. We actual have 220-230v going into every house, its just a "safety feature" that it only "seems" 110-120v. Its a weird system to be sure, that I couldn't explain, but the guy over at Technology Connection did a decient video explaining it. The is electrical system is not 110v :

My first impressions of the Pyra

I thought the soc only supported USB 3 as otg. Thus why we have a USB 3 otg port too. However, yeah, that is why the full size USB is usb3. Got to love sata ports on a portable, even if you have to use an adapter. Sent from my H3123 using Tapatalk

Lets start making the helper gadgets

Point. [Here](https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/applets/view/95) is a nice shutdown timer applet. For gaming controls mapping, I use antimicrox. Works pretty good on my desktop at least. It gives you a mice front end, of which you can build out a sdl2 config. Sent from my H3123 using Tapatalk

Brief Answers to the Big (Pyra) Questions

mostly true, in that DBP is better. But as its not there ATM, mount is a good hold over. Also, I ran an SD card as my home for years (eeepc had a small main drive). You just "don't" remove said card, treat it like a hard drive. There is always USB card readers if you need one. Also^2, I never...

Lets start making the helper gadgets

Some people don't like the term, and "forcing" them to use it makes them less likely to do it. When I first started on Linux, I used Ubuntu, so as to not use the term. I had GUI options for everything. The term was just something to play around with, not for actually doing anything. Now, I run...

Lets start making the helper gadgets

If you don't mind a zenith script, that's one of the few things even I could write :). A little popup asking for how long in min, set a sleep with a notification every 5 min for when it will shut off, and a final "click this or shut down will accure in X secs". Sent from my H3123 using Tapatalk

Lets start making the helper gadgets

While I understand the want, this is something even I can script in a few min with a simple if/then. However, this isn't exactly user facing friendly. A simple gui, even just zenity, or an applet with right click menu would be better for "users". Like me. I don't do shortcuts in general, f12...

    Just a quick heads up

https://mcphee.com/collections/candy/products/super-genius-mints-bulk-box I did get a case of these. Not bad at all. More like sour fruit mints, but they were not bad. Plus, this case was only $4 when I got it, thought I was just get one. Seems they fixed that now. Sent from my H3123 using...
