Just Got My Caanoo. Fully Charged. All I Get Is Gph.. Wont Boot. Pl

Do you have an SD card reader? If you do, you could put the new firmware on your SD and the pop it back in your Caanoo. Start your Caanoo while holding the RIGHT shoulder button and your Caanoo will start the firmware upgrade process. My Caanoo started hanging at the GPH screen a week ago but...

    Drpocketsnes 6.5.0 Caanoo

Hey its worked on the GP32, Gizmondo, Dingoo, GP2X so it can't be that bad ;) EDIT: As usual you were right, as a test I forced the emulator to skip all frames. The sound issues all went away. So the cause of my issues are with my "racy" code and not the compiler. Thanks for your help.

    Drpocketsnes 6.5.0 Caanoo

Yes the compiler is also causing me issues, I wanted to port the Dingoo pocketsnes to the Caanoo. The emulator runs but the sound emulation is broken, I know the sound driver on the Caanoo works fine as my DrSMS port has no issues. I know the pocketsnes sound code works fine as there are no...

It works for me on 1.6. Did you do a clean install? ie create a new folder on your SD card or have you copied the new pocketsnes program into an existing pocketsnes folder?

Caanoo / WIZ Caanoo Framebuffer Question

The pollux chip supports 8,16,24,32 bit RGB modes, the docs say that internally everything is 32bit (well actually the docs describe the format as A4R8G8B8 which would be 28bit which make no sense so its probably a typo and should be A8R8G8B8 ie 32bit). The hardware should be doing all of the...

    Changing Menu Buttons For Pocketsnes

I have a copy http://reesy.gp32x.de/pocketsnes_wiz_sa1.zip You'll need to modify main.cpp as I said previously. The code you want to modify is in the S9xReadJoypad() procedure. You'll need a compiler http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/wiz.cgi?0,0,0,0,14,8 just update main.cpp and then run...
