Turns out it was qtwebengine failing... Webkit actually works. I don't think it likes our TI gfx driver

Request: More Action like on the Good old Pandora Days

Actually fits in my pocket with the case... Not a good look though. I don't think the pyra was ever for so called "casuals" While I welcome them with open arms, I don't think we need to focus on them. Actually, until audio and standby are up to par, we really can't. 1653343489 Actually fits...

What dit you use your Pandora/Pyra today/the last few days

I mess around with my linux quite a bit, I should probably try vanilla. Pretty sure I did a dist-upgrade at some point so that could be part of the problem.

Request: More Action like on the Good old Pandora Days

People who have used physical keyboards on phones tend to miss them, but for the most part... you're probably right. Considering what everyone has said here,I think it may be important to change our target market from retro gaming. Yes, it's an amazing retro device, but that market is filling...

Request: More Action like on the Good old Pandora Days

Are there? Here I am on my #200 Pyra, and it is easily the most enjoyable handheld computer that I've used. The last thing to even come close was the PocketChip. There are devices out there that may fill niche segments, but none of them are truly a handheld general purpose computer. i find...

    Issues with updating

Sorry, I have not been focusing much on the pyra lately and I should probably have done a proper report. That said, the gpg key was the problem there. @matzesu if it removed pyra packages, you can find them in synaptic by searching for "pyra" and tell it to look at names only @Phlyra...

    Can't find omapdrm/dri?

I've upgrade to Bullseye, but I think I saw this before I upgraded too. Errors like this: libGL error: MESA-LOADER: failed to open omapdrm (search paths /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/GL/default/lib/dri libGL Error: failed to load driver: omapdrm I tried upgrading the kernel, but that...

    One DBP a Day!

Would anyone, by chance, want to detail making a package from start to finish? I'd like to get involved, but the scattered Pyra information is hard to pin together.

    Release Retroarch

After updating to Bullseye, I can't get this to launch anymore. Looks like it wants to use old libs. I don't know enough about building retroarch nor packaging for the DBP yet to fix this myself.

What dit you use your Pandora/Pyra today/the last few days

Just got my pyra, so lots of stuff. Tried updating to Bullseye, which worked mostly well. Can't seem to use underscores, but I'm not sure I actually tried that before upgrading... I logged into a linux box via serial connection for the first time, which was helpful when I later tried to...

    build pyra Debian

Just upgraded to bullseye. i copied the pyra packages to be removed during the upgraded and reinstalled after. Haven't tested anything except to reboot and write this report, but it looks like the upgrade was smooth. I'll report more if i encounter problems.

    Everything sorted into the shelves

Hopefully we'll start to see more Pyras soon. It has been a hell of a ride. October 20th of 2015. Coming up on my sixth year anniversary of my original preorder. Here's hoping I still have a use-case for this thing. Life, Linux, and even handheld devices are far different from what they were...

Should I have received my final order eMail already?

Hopefully new Pyra Owners start happening again soon. Has anyone from that last batch of the 200 gotten a Pyra yet? Those orders opened up back in July, and as far as I'm aware, none have shipped yet.

Just a quick status report video

I do believe this can be done with ThinkPads. At least older ones. I know you can do percentage cut offs, but I'm pretty sure you can enforce a slow charge mode as well. So, perhaps? I don't see why we couldn't have a controllable charge controller.

Just a quick status report video

I'm not in the EU, but isn't the law aimed to stop proprietary connectors? If so, I would think barrel and old USB would still be permitted anyway. Thinking of that, I kinda miss barrel connectors. Unless they were stupid small, they were pretty robust, and I could plug them in any which way...
