Bringing the case and PCB together

Agreed. Better to shift them right one so that P becomes the non-Fn (Meta?) keysym for the key that's currently "<" when Fn'd and blank otherwise. ...though I seriously doubt that's the final layout. It has three different keys you can press to get almost any symbol. (eg. @ symbols on "1"...

Ahh. Sorry about that. I'm operating on about 3.5 hours of sleep and my memory is the first thing to go.

GitHub does allow you to grant other users developer privileges on your repositories... or, if you want to share full admin privileges, you could use GitHub's "create organization" feature, transfer ownership of the repo to the organization, and then add the other devs as co-admins.

How would the length of the space key determine that? Wouldn't it be a matter of the number of buttons in the row? Also, while I would settle for a short space key to improve the tactile response, I don't consider it acceptable if fixing the response can be done without resorting to that.

I'm not a big fan of the DMG gameboy but I definitely like the Pandora's shape as-is. (I had a Sega Gamegear (which I seem to have lost) and then switched the Gameboy Color, GBA, NDS, and then Pandora (both of which I still have) so the GBC is sort of my nostalgia gold standard for the portrait...

    SoC: Back and forth!

I don't know whether it's usable yet, but libhybris is supposed to allow Wayland on top of Android drivers via Weston and EGL translation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libhybris Given what I've been reading about the release-readiness of current versions of Mir from various sources (LWN...

    Updates in all areas

I love things that are built to last... but I still prefer them to look as new as possible. (For example, one of these days, I really need to buy a replacement Cherry MX keycap set for my keyboard which is made out of PBT rather than ABS.)

...and, as long as the game uses X11 for keyboard input rather than talking straight to evdev (quite likely given that evdev device nodes for keyboards have very restricted permissions by default to avoid password snooping), it would take some insanely stupid OS-level coding (stuff like...

I am rather curious (and wary) about that point. I never had a problem with my Pandora's D-Pad and I like the feel of it. Did other people have problems or is this just a matter of personal taste and wanting the D-Pad to feel more like the action buttons?

I hope it's black. That's always been my color of choice for electronics and, even without the typical "just spray-painted on" issues you see, I've never been a fan of other popular finishes like silver. (Maybe in part because I grew up on IBM Thinkpads.) (Though the mix of black and pure white...

While it's possible that I did miss that since my sleep cycle is currently shot to hell and I only got 4 hours of sleep on each of the last few nights, I'm pretty sure I concluded "small buttons" by looking at the mockup and determining that I couldn't see any way to fit original-sized ones into...

For the record, I'm not in favour of the smaller buttons God Ginrai's mockup would necessitate.

I agree that JS is here to stay... I'm just saying that we should be using the functionality the browser provides properly. While there is overlap between them, it's still generally pretty easy to tell the difference between an interactive document (eg. a forum or wiki) and an in-browser...

Not quite. On a modern browser, the only function Bootstrap provides which shouldn't need Javascript but does is the dropdown menus. Everything else is either justified in requiring it (eg. modals and popovers) or degrades gracefully (eg. tooltip.js)... and things like the modals can be...

Regarding knockout.js, I'm strongly against anything that makes Javascript a mandatory dependency for things that shouldn't need it, like displaying textual content (HTML) or showing/hiding a drop-down menu (CSS :hover). In fact, when I hit a site that doesn't require something like the canvas...

I'm wary of that idea but, as long as it doesn't impair the Pandora's ability to sit on a flat surface like a tiny laptop, I'll withhold my judgement.

    The case of the case.

As long as there's one that's at least as wide as the Pandora's 170 degrees, I'll be fine with it but I do agree that having a pair of DS-like locking stops would be superior.

    Needs better touchscreen

Another way to respond would be: "You're right. Nature did give us ten styluses ...but the precision tips only work on resistive touchscreens. They're called fingernails. You can even trim 'em to tune your experience like many guitarists do."

    Question regarding the stylus

Those are harder to find but still show up cheaply on eBay if you manage to craft a precise enough search to exclude all the DSLite, DSi, and 3DS results.
