Well, perhaps an idea is that all emulators must have command line parameters, so it can be launched by a frontend. This way the frontend can be skinned like your mockups (I liked them a lot). A frontend for each emulator or a multiemulator one.

I think, but can be wrong, that the powervr similarities doesn't matter because the pandora uses the OpenGL ES 2.0 layer and the emulators doesn't talk directly to the hardware.
Does the pandora have the "ondemand" cpufreq scaling? On AMD I think it's called Cool'n'quiet and what it does is changing the cpu frequiency depending on cpu load. ie on my desktop if cpu load is at 100%, the freq is 2400Mhz, but when idle it's at 1000Mhz, with a few other frequencies between...
If the emulation speed has to be tested, Final Fantasy 6 (III on the USA) should be one of the roms tested, because it was slowwwwwwwwwwww on the GP2X. And Yoshi's Island (super mario world 2) should be another good one, because it uses the superfx external accelerator chip.

Yes, in gp32spain the Pandora is not very popular. There are a few pandora fans, still. But I think, craigix, you should be more carefull to not lose them. i.e: answering the private messages ;) ;)
