    Pyra as a Phone

Well obviously any USB webcam should work, but I was talking about something with a more suitable form factor. A big webcam with a long cable would probably not be too useful on a small portable device. I don't know if what I had in mind exists: A camera directly attached to a USB plug...

    Pyra as a Phone

What might be more useful (and would go well with the upgradeable board concept) would be a sort of Add-on camera. You'd have enough space for a good lens, with USB and Linux it wouldn't be a big software issue, people that don't care about it could just not get it... I remember my first phone...

    News from all fronts

Oh that's nice of them to do your work for you XD. Honestly though, getting a broken replacement board? That sucks...

A few Colors and Packages (with a poll!)

All of that's true, but not exactly a problem for all (and probably only for a very select few ^^) users. Me, I don't even want to play homebrew games on my 3DS (did the whole homebrew thing on my PSP and was constantly underwhelmed by the huge number of, to be blunt, shitty games), I could move...

A few Colors and Packages (with a poll!)

Don't forget the Nintendo 3DS... And that one uses a proprietary connector to make things worse. What a great start - prepare for the next level!

It is (in my experience) unusual to use a unit of volume when giving dimensions of a device. Usually it's just <a> x <b> x <c> cm (or mm or m or whatever). It's not technically correct, but that's just how it's done usually. So I'd leave it at "cm" too.

Uses for the Cortex-M4 cores on the OMAP5?

I think you have a wrong idea of how "small" those two cores are. Running wine on a 200MHz (I think?) Cortex-M4? I don't think you'd have a lot of fun with that ^^. I can imagine that running things like sound effects and music on them (maybe even emulating old sound chips on them) being...

Preorders Have Started. (Previously named starts in two hours)

Germany ftw! (Sorry couldn't resist XD). Nice to see some electronics made locally (well, for me at least) for once ^^

Preorders Have Started. (Previously named starts in two hours)

Preordered one just now. I'm glad I held back on buying a Pandora (not by choice though ^^), now that there's a successor coming XD
