Yes, definitely. Especially for the price! I just love RPN calculators. Takes some getting used to, but it's really handy. I keep my HP-48 at home though and got a Swissmicros DM15 that I keep in my backpack. Way smaller and less valuable ^^
I managed to snag an HP-48G on eBay for a low price a few years ago. My dad has one and I had been looking for years because it's so awesome. When it arrived it turned out it was professionally upgraded to even more RAM XD
Could also show Cube 2: Sauerbraten. That has a bit more impressive graphics than SuperTux XD. Doesn't make any sense while the graphics acceleration isn't working though...

You can definitely buy a SIM card standalone in the US. When I was there for an exchange semester I bought one so I could use my phone there. So that shouldn't be an issue for a Pyra user in the US.
