Hey Ranma, at least I can say "why haven't you been banned yet" because you are the one that actually made a flame post. Yet when I state an idea, he says the same thing...
Anyway, when was this firmware supposed to come out?
Yes, except now the PSP can do most things the GP2X can, and it has a large library commercial games and wifi unlike GP2X, AND they will now cost roughly the same price (the absense of a shipping fee and batteries makes up for the memory stick's higher price). Something must be done.
Well Gamepark did say that they will be releasing the XGP and Mini in the beginning of next year. Plenty of time for them to supply some more information.
Yeah, as much as I like the XGP series more than GP2X, I don't really support the XGP. I'm still deciding whether I to get a Mini or Kids when they WILL be released.
Grr ED, change that link for games on the front page to www.digitalmzx.net instead. That is where pretty much everything is available, and that is where the community is.
Edit: is that an actual screenshot on the GP2X?
Wow, by far this is the best port made for the GP2X by far. It beats any of those emulators that you guys like to play so much. Thanks! Possible that you can make a ZZT interpreter with the zztlib?
If you read some of the other threads, you would have known that all of the handhelds will be open-SDK. Why, they can't be both commerical and hombrew handhelds?
Someone make a pacroms-like file browser. That is perfect because I can put the fxe files in whatever folder I want and then I just have to put the game's/program's data files in the GPMM folder. I think menus would be better if they were not restricted by catagory or if they are in one huge list.
At least Gamepark is not spending more time answering questions than developing their handhelds (probably). Having the company communicate closely with the public community just creates 5-page long threads of "THE JOYSTICK IS ANALOG???!?!"
I would have suggested using a paper/cardboard box, as plastic is very hazardous to the environment.
BTW craigix, did you do any beta testing for the game?
